I get very frustrated having to pay extra for having a dog when the hotel is very old and no special care has gone into maintaining the rooms. We were moved from our first room that was given to us because the kitchen drawers hadn't been cleaned, and also, because the bathroom door didn't fit the door frame so you... More

Slumberlodge, If it weren't for you... I would have no where to call my place for Christmas. After one short phone call, I was asked to bring the rent cheque and Damage deposit in! No harrassing questions, No problems with a small puppy, No problems with no references.. NO PROBLEMS getting a room, which was AMAZING. Because, At this point... More

We liked the rooms and the atmosphere of the place but when we were told that they allow all sorts of dogs but not a small caged bird I was floored. I have had birds all of my life and not one has smelled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure if other people don't know how to keep a bird cage clean? Anyways, what... More

We chose this motel based on location--we would be arriving late in the evening and didn't wish to cross the border at midnight. The Slumber Lodge must've been built in the 1950's--was definitely a vintage motel. The room was spacious enough but definitely needed updating. The evening desk worker was very friendly and helpful, an asset to the place. The... More

Being across the street from the smaller beach area is the only good thing about this place. If you intend to spend all day sunbathing, then you might try staying here. If, after said day on the beach, you want to check your email or watch a youtube video, good luck. Problems: 1) The "free wifi" disconnects you every two... More

I booked the Delux two room suit based off pictures of website. Not even remotely close. Huge disappointment that resulted in checking out the next day. Planned on staying for one week but this was not what we signed up for. Location is great but not worth the money. I would not recommend this Hotel to anybody including someone I... More

My wife and I stayed from July 11- July 18 and we talked about her doing a review on the motel, cause it was the worst stay ever. I decided to write a review too. The bed was uncomfortable, dirty blankets and the most horrible of all was all the bugs bites we had come home with from this motel.... More

Stayed at least 8 times, this time the room full of spiders, bugs, cob webs, bug eggs, the blankets are old, dingy, dirty, disgusting. Previous client left behind dirty socks which was right on the floor below the nightstand table where I was sleeping and again I was applaued at what I found. if I found the dirty socks how the maid... We checked into the hotel on the Friday of a long weekend with Boonstock Musical festival taking place in Penticton. We weren't aware of it, but there was tons of activity within the city and hotel. I was concerned at first with the people hanging outside their rooms chatting and drinking, but once we closed our hotel room door, there... More

Stayed here over the weekend. We arrived early and checked to see if our room was ready. We were told to come back for 3 which we did and had to wait another hour and 45 mins until the room was ready. Our 2 bedroom suite was dirty. The bathroom and living room had ants and our toilet didn't work... More
