This was an ideal location for my girlfriend and I. We needed a hotel close to our New Years dance to avoid driving. We didn't need to be too particular, because we were just sleeping there. I must say we were pleasantly surprised. For the price the room was very good value, clean and comfortable. We were well looked after... more

prevent a room to the backside...noise from the skytrain tracks, rooms are spacy and clean, quite simple. 100$/d more

I recently stayed for 6 nights at The Met, August 9-14, so I believe I can give a comprehensive review. To find a really good budget hotel at the height of tourist season in the Vancouver area is tricky. This is the best value for your dollar. This is an old heritage building, the oldest in New Westminster. You can... more

Awesome location next to Skytrain if you are planning to go into town (Vancouver). Station is about 30 seconds from the hotel. Sketchy neighbourhood and parking is strange, i.e. you can't actually go to the lot and pay for the night; you have to go out and buy another ticket at some ungodly hour. Paying through the front desk is... more

This hotel is one of the cheaper in the vancouver area, without having resorting to a motel 6 or something seedy. The staff was a husband and wife team who were more than willing to give advice on the city and ensure that our short stay was comfortable. There are not a lot of amenities in this hotel, but we... more

Some of these reviews might leave you with the impression that boutique = old = dumpy. Couldn't be further from the truth! I've stayed at this hotel several times, just for proximity to the Sky Train (< 2 min walking). I've never had breakfast there so can't comment on that, but it has always been extremely clean and the staff... more

My boyfriend and I stayed in Sept 2007 for two weeks. We paid the higher rate for a room with a kitchenette however there was only a fridge and microwave and two plastic disposable cups. We approached reception who advised this was all a kitchenette was, and none of the rooms had anything other than fridge and microwave. When I... more

Booked online, and was quite satisfied. Rooms were fairly large, although the afternoon sun beating into the room was making the small A/C unit work overtime. Great location, easy access to all of the Greater Vancouver area. Lots of Antique shops nearby, and a nice local pub on the main floor serving your typical pub fare. Good experience all around,... more

My wife and I got a night there as a silent auction prize. Nice boutique hotel. I found the other reviewer's very negative comments to be without foundation in our case. Super clean and large rooms. A great choice for someone out of town as it is right on the Skytrain line. We're in our mid 30's and our budget... more

My fiance and I stayed at this hotel for one night, while I was attending a course at a nearby college. We found the owner and fellow staff to be very polite and friendly, and accomodated us without problem, as we had arrived early in the day. The hotel is very charming, with sitting areas in the middle of the... more
