I loved staying there they had very nice rooms but there was a lot of noise because of the train tracks right beside it.
The rooms are clean with modern decor. Great seafood restaurant connected to the hotel as well. It sits on a boardwalk along the water which was charming & beautiful. There is a great street for shopping one or two blocks away. There is a lot of commercial traffic on the street adjacent to the hotel though - so that kind...

The Inn is right on the Fraser River, room was ready and welcoming with a very personal touch. Staff was very helpful as we were from the US and did not know our way around they were very detailed for us. Although the hotel is near the sky train you would never know it... Not a sound did we hear......

The room wasn't the cleanest when we got up there, tables weren't wiped down or anything. But it is super cute and had everything you could need. The value wasn't half bad, there is a pub right downstairs that serves great food. I live local and i stayed there after a work party and it was great. I would stay...

Beautiful location on the Fraser. Clean, comfortable rooms catering to all your needs. Adjoining restaurant had a good seafood menu. The only downside to staying at The Quay is if you come by skytrain and have to walk up and down all those stairs (carrying luggage!) before reaching the boardwalk and the hotel. No problem if you come by car...

Once again this was a hotel I approached with some trepidation. I know New West very well and being this close to Skytrain and the railway was cause for concern. Once again, booked by the Sweetie who can sleep through an air raid on a mattress of rocks, Me -the princess of the pair was concerned about getting my sleep....

I have stayed in literally hundreds of hotels in over 50 countries, so I do know hotels. When I rate a hotel, I always look for the bad and the good. Here I found lots of good and no bad.
I do not understand the complaints people have made about The Inn at The Quay concerning noise from the harbour,...

I came from downtown Vancouver and took the SkyTrain to New Wesminster. Getting down from the platform there were 2 flights of stairs, and then no taxis or buses to get to the hotel. I walked to the train overpass, up another flight of stairs, across the tracks and then down another flight of stairs. Then about a block walk...

Dear Victoria_BCTravelbug,
I'm sorry that you encountered a bit of a challenge accessing the Inn at the Quay from the Skytrain station. There is another route which is a bit longer (approximately 10 minutes) but not so much up and down. Perhaps give us a call prior to your next arrival and we can provide those directions or organize a...

My husband and I stayed here for 10 days while he recovered from back surgery. The fromt desk staff and housekeeping staff are very helpful and professional. Our housekeeper, May kept our room in tip top shape, even when my husband couldn't get out of bed directly after the surgery. The beds and pillows are comfy and the in-room Starbucks...

I'm really surprised that no one so far has mentioned how difficult it is to drive in and out of this hotel with your car. I found it to be very difficult as a non-resident of Vancouver (and no, I'm not a country bumpkin!). Took me three tries to get in - you can see it from the road but...

Dear Nomadic007,
thank you for your comments and you are correct, it can be tricky to arrive at the Inn at the Quay. You can see it, but it's how you access it. There are two ways in, one over the railroad tracks off Begbie and Columbia Streets, the other is over the 3rd Street Overpass off Stewardson Way. I'm...
