The hotel is in a great location, overlooking the Fraser River. In front of the hotel their is a 2 mile boardwalk along the river for a very nice walk, and next to the hotel a restaurant with good food, outside seating overlooking the river and reasonable prices.

This hotel had a good standard on rooms and staff were friendly. The area(new westminster) is not recommended. Some ok restaurants close to the hotel. To get into town, the Skytrain will take you there in approx 30 minutes. So find a hotel closer to town if you are planning a trip to Vancouver.

Didn't know what to expect from the hotel except the reviews I read from Travelocity. Glad I picked this hotel. Although further away from downtown, the drive is not so bad. If you compare to Toronto (where I am from), traffic is crazy all the time in Toronto. So, driving 20 minutes is not so bad. Also, the location is... More

We stayed here during the August long weekend for my sister's wedding. It's not really what it used to be...a bit tired. The staff make the hotel. They are all customer service orientated and seem to like their jobs. The location is fantastic with nearby shops, restaurants and on the Quay. I would recommend staying there.

Thank you Deborah for your posting. I'm very happy to hear that our associates provided excellent service! Also good news from our owners - we hope to be replacing the guestroom carpeting in all rooms by the end of 2015. Enjoy the remainder of your summer and we look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. More

I took my fiancé there for his birthday for a 4 night stay in the middle of July. We had arrived a lot later than we had anticipated originally, so when we checked in I believe it was only the Night Audit on shift. I understand he was probably the only one on shift, and though he was polite and... More

The rooms were ok to a degree, in my daughter's room 413 the patio door wouldn't open or close. It was reported the 1st day of a 5day stay - nothing expect promises. My nieces room needed a good cleaning. The other rooms were so so, we had 12 rooms in our group. Also the view over the harbour was... More

Dear Jo M, thank you for choosing the Inn at the Quay for your recent travels to New Westminster. I believe there is some miscommunication regarding your daughter's room and attempting to correct the situation. On our first attempt the "do not disturb" sign was on the door and after that several messages were left to ask when we could... More

I stayed her for 5 days from July 23rd to 27th. It was a birthday weekend for me, and I was not disappointed. It was a fantastic launching point to spend my weekend. I love the near by shops, and easy access to the sky train, and the paddle wheeler cruise. I was lucky enough to find a spot on... More

Stayed here in June for 3 nights, was a very nice hotel right beside the water and close to great shops, restaurants, walking paths, and very close to the skylink train station that takes you right into Vancouver, would definitely stay here again next year.

What a fun Hotel! Shaped like a cruise ship! Every room has a balcony and a view of the harbour, which was amazing. This hotel is centrally located along the Quay, and is really close to shopping, movie theatre, skytrain station, and fun funky restaurants. Will definately stay here again!
