We've stayed here on a few occasions because it was relatively inexpensive but this last time will be our last. For the life of me I couldn't get the innkeeper to crack a smile to save her life. She was almost outright hostile, and the "non smoking" room we were given reeked of cigarette smoke, the toilet was constantly running... more

The owner of this motel pretended to be a friend of my wife & I, then she spread vicious rumours about us to our friends and families. This is not a friendly establishment in my experience. more

I am surprised to see so many bad reviews, although it's been a couple of years since I've stayed here. I spent one night in the summer time on my way to Vancouver. It was perfect for me and my dog. The room was definitely not recently renovated but there wasn't anything wrong with it and it was clean. The... more

After a bad night at Travellers Inn this place seemed like paradise. You exactly what you pay for here. Granted the walls are paper thin and the carpets are like oooolllldddddd. the rest of the room was clean and tidy. Very old place that was made presentable. For the price you pay its worth the stay. Just dont expect the... more

My brother-in-law kindly reserved this for my husband and I, thinking that it was inexpensive and close by. If I wasn't so late, I would have tried to find another place to stay. I really like to support local small business owners when I can, but this Motel really needs some T.L.C. If I recall the price was similiar to... more

I booked a room for three nights as my sister and I were attending a convention. When I read the reviews I was a little apprehensive but thought we would make the best of it. We had a very clean room with frig and microwave and did not hear any of the traffic. would stay there again. more

Unprofessional, unfriendly, noisy, paper thin walls, road traffic, dusty, plumbing problems, unclean.I could go on and on but why bother. There is nothing nice to say about our experience except thank God its over. We booked for 3 days and checked out after one night. We expereinced a hassle and hostile flak from the 'management' . We had to threaten... more

Stayed 4 nights at this accomodation and enjoyed it. Yes there was a few things that could have been better but overall got what we paid for. Good kitchenette, comfortable beds, bright clean washrrom. Yes there is traffic noise but what do you expect being situated on the main drag?!! I would say a six out of ten. more

We stayed at the Bluebird on our way to Tofino. The innkeeper told us he would charge us extra if we used the 2nd bed in a room with 2 beds!! The room was dingly and old and there was mold in the bathroom. I would never stay there again....I would rather put up my tent. more

It was awful! The walls are paper thin. I was lucky enough to stay next to a couple that were parting all night long! Not just a party but .... yah know what I mean. We complained twice but absolutely nothing was done about it. They don't bother having their phone on for emergencies. The cutlery and dishes in the... more
