My husband and I stayed 2 nights. We found it after we made a wrong turn. It was a great find and well worth the wrong turn. Our room was bright, cheery, and very clean. There were lots of pillows and blankets. We could walk over to the restaurant or walk downtown. The office staff was very nice and answered... More

I wasn't going to write a review so that this motel would be my little secret. We stayed overnight and found the staff very helpful and courteous. Many thanks to the Assistant Manager for her assistance selecting the room and providing extra chairs.. The new owners have invested time and money into this gem. The rooms are clean, beds are... Stayed with 2 adults and 2 teenagers in room 114 for 2 nights. The room has 2 bedrooms and a sitting area/kitchen. Kids had a queen bed each and we had a king bed. Very clean. Bathroom had a soap dispenser and loads of towels. Service at the front desk was impeccable. Its a 10 minute walk to downtown for... More

We appreciated our quiet room at the back, the bright lighting in the bathroom/vanity area and the helpful hosts. The location was great, a nice walk to charming downtown. Easy to get to off the Island Highway.

This is a decent hotel to stay in if your primary concern is a cheap place. The room was kitted out about what you'd expect for something in the sub-$75 price range, furniture not too shabby, bed comfortable but not plush. I had a friendly guy at my check-in, because I was there on a bicycle-riding trip and he's a... More

This trip required me to travel with my cat (house being renovated). A truly different experience and sometimes hard to find a room. The room was clean and spacious, lots of counter space. Stayed in a room in the front and going through again one in the back. Preferred the one in the front, found the back one a little... More

Check in went well, room was dated but clean. I noted a coffee maker, filters, and cups...but no coffee?? Inquired at the front desk and was told I could purchase coffee at the local market. First time toilet was utilized it backed up and flooded. I spoke to the front desk clerk and she said someone would be coming to... More

This motel is just a few kilometers away from both ferry terminals, which makes it a useful choice, if you have to catch an early ferry. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, check-in is professional. The rooms are comfortably equipped(fridge and microwave and a coffee maker. We hoped for a room away from the highway, but were told that they... More

We stayed here off an on for a month while working in Nanaimo. The rooms we stayed in were all clean - although by far not as modern as they could be - if you're looking for luxury don't stay here :) The furnishings in the rooms are all random - some could be 30+ years old.... The beds are... More

We stay here often, very convenient to downtown, staff always goes the extra mile for guests and rooms are very clean and comfortable. Lots of new beds, pillows and TV's over the last year. Rooms all have mini fridge and microwave. Very pet friendly and we always feel safe and secure.
