We arrived in Nanaimo and went straight to the Visitor Centre as we had no idea where to stay. They had just recently been to visit this motel and commented that it had newly been redecorated and was a fantastic price for what you got. They kindly rang and booked in for us and we met Jane when we arrived. She happily showed us our room and made us feel welcome. We had the kingsize bed with a little kitchenette which suited us perfectly. Just a few minutes walk away was a mall where we were able to buy our groceries and so cooked our own dinner and breakfast.

The most wonderful thing was the bed - I had the best night's sleep ever! In fact I had to ask them what the mattress was so I could get one!
