A very pleasant stay for two nights at the Inn on Long Lake. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We asked for a later check out due to a ferry delay and were extended to 1pm at no cost. Thank you Rob S for this wonderful review! I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. I think you have covered most of our amenities-from free (and fast!) Wi-Fi to kayak and pedal boat rentals. I do apologize about the plumbing. Nobody wants to hear the pipes in the building. The plumbing is aging, and we are... More

We were delayed a few hours after our arrival picking up our rental car. To late for a long drive to tofino. Lucky to find this gem of a hotel which helped us out and with a good price. Right across from Mcdonalds which was a life saver after traveling 10hrs with 3 little ones.

Thank you Jorge S for your wonderful review. I know all too well how stressful travelling can be, and I am so glad that we were able to provide a comfortable place for you and your family to relax after a long day. With easy room access, every room with a lake view and the included continental breakfast, this location was a steal for the peak-season cost with free parking. Centrally located for our travel purposes. Minutes from anything and everything. Our room had two very comfortable queen beds with side bedding and amazing pillows. There was plenty of room for the playpen,... More

Thank you for the wonderful review. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. I agree, we have a great location-both the beauty and peace of being right on the lake shore, and being handy to transportation and amenities of the City. I do apologize about the plumbing. It is aging, but we are replacing it all later... More

After staying at a very nice Harbor hotel in Victoria where we were awakened each morning at 5:30 by docking boats, it was nice to be overlooking a quiet lake instead. The double queen bed room was very spacious and the balcony overlooking the lake was a treat. We arrived in the late afternoon and rented a paddle boat which... More

Thank you, jcatharine, for the wonderful review. I am glad that you found it so relaxing and comfortable. We feel very lucky to have such a beautiful setting we can share with our guests. The fact that every room has a private lakeside balcony or patio (with no noisy seaplane terminals or ferry docks!) is a very unusual bonus, as... More

We won this stay for one night, and used the gift certificate last week. had a wonderful stay. happy to learn about the very varied continental breakfast in the morning. make sure you read the fine print of what you are signed when you check in, to see if you do or do not want the morning paper. there is... Thank you for the wonderful review. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay. I do have to correct two points though. While we encourage everyone to "read the fine print", there is NO CHARGE for the newspaper delivered to your room daily-never has been, and never will be. And, we have not one, but two elevators serving the upper... More

This is a three-story outside entry hotel, with balconies on the lake side. The rooms were good, beds nice and comfortable. It appears smoking is allowed on patios as there was an ashtray. There was a rather large spider web outside our door with a good size spider in it when we arrived. There was a little bit of road... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. I apologize for the spider that greeted you-it is the one downside of having a gorgeous lakeshore property-nature, including spiders, is a little closer outside than if we were not located literally metres from the lakeshore. Our staff do make... More

This is an excellent facility - the rooms are spacious, well appointed and impeccably clean - the icing on the cake is that all rooms face beautiful Long Lake - I spent much time on the private balcony attached to my room, enjoying the ambiance and view. It felt very luxurious even though I was there for business.

I am so glad that you found us, and that you had such a great stay. You are absolutely right-all the rooms do have a view of the water. It's such a nice view, whether on the main floor, with the ability to walk directly out to the lawns, or higher up for a little more "panoramic" view. You can't... More

Every room in this hotel has a balcony that faces the Lake. Enjoying sunset in this location is one of the most relaxing experiences. My wife and I had an excellent room on the 3rd floor with a great view of the lake.

Thank you David P for the great review. It is great being able to relax on your own patio or balcony and look out over the lake. The view is a bit better up high, but some prefer the convenience of being able to access the lawn and grounds from their main floor patio-which still has a pretty good view.... More
