“Tired but clean”

We were in Nanaimo for the weekend, and wanted a cheap place to stay. You get what you pay for. The hotel is dated, the beds were comfortable, but could stand to be updated, as were the pillows. But it was very clean and the staff very friendly & pleasant.

this hotel has gone through a whole raft of rebirths over the years and shows it.....even finding the front door is a bit of a challenge. We booked this room while making a late ferry crossing into Nanaimo. Being an avid tripadvisor reader I did consult the reviews so I really wasn't expecting much…we wanted a cheap, clean overnight stay. The reviews are correct, it's REALLY tired and worn out.
