The room was clean except behind the bathroom door, which you didn't notice until you were in the bathroom with the door closed and saw old toilet paper and stuff stuck in and beside the baseboard heater. Obviously the cleaner never closed the door while inside it! We couldn't shower because you either turn the knob clockwise for hot or... More

Stayed here during a dragon boat festival, with my whole team. Overall positive comments are: clean room, no bugs, lots of dresser space, fluffy and clean towels and face cloths, helpful and friendly chamber maids and staff, comfortable bed. The room had important things for me: coffee maker (with 1 package of coffee), microwave, fridge. There was a TV but... More

My five day stay at Port-O-Call was very pleasant. The food in the restaurant was well prepared and the staff was friendly. The suite was roomy and clean. The beautiful bay is within walking distance. The rock garden and water fall at the motel was very relaxing at the end of the day.

I recently enjoyed my 6 day visit june 2015. I found the staff polite. They catered to my needs. The lady in the front even drew out a map attempting to give me directions. I felt safe and found the rooms clean. I have no problems recommending this hotel and could see my self staying there again.

I stayed 4 nights at this hotel. It has a good central location. The room was clean and I really like that the bedroom area was separate from the living area. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food served in the restaurant was tasty. I would stay in this hotel again.

They were polite. The breakfast was excellent. The price was affordable seeing that most people are tourists and will be looking to spend in other areas. I see others referring to the people around the area, but the hotel is not in charge of the transient population. This will be the case with any of the lodging options in the... More

Don't stay here! Terrible neighbourhood, junkies lingering around the building and the workers are creepy and rude. The room was disgusting, the bathroom wasn't cleaned. There was no towels in the room and the bath had hair in it. There was dead bugs in the room and had a strange door. The house cleaner was smoking a joint while waiting... More

Male front desk clerk does not look at you when you speak; in fact, he will walk away while you're speaking and so does the older female manager. Crack a joke, go ahead, I dare you. You'll get no response. Stone-faced people, these are. I was forced to change rooms because the cable didn't work in the first room I... More

I tried to stay here with my girlfriend before heading to the Mainland. Once the fountain shut down and the ambient noise outside had gone away, our neighbors voice kept my girl awake right till I was woken up at 1:30 AM by him too. He had traffic in and put of his room that he was obviously living in... More

We happened to come into town without an idea of where to stay. Port-O-Call was the 2nd motel we went to and we found it to be clean and staff friendly. They also gave us a price based on where we stayed - this made us very happy. Only thing was the noisy crying woman next door.
