Because the reviews on the downtownhotels weren't that good, we tried this one, not in downtown Nanaimo, but convienently located on the Island Hwy (19A), app. 15 min. drive from the ferry. Average motel, clean rooms with balcony, close to shops (Superstore & several malls) and restaurants. Ample parking. Not very cheap, but with a small hottub/sauna & fitness area.... more
