The room was fine. Clean and comfortable enough, but not much of a view (see photo). The counter staff didn't look up and barely spoke at check-out. Our car wasn't broken into, so that was nice. We definitely wouldn't have stayed there if we had read the reviews on this site ahead of time, as we usually stay at the... more

We lobbed here on spec during a recent visit to Canada, and simply called in hoping for a room for the night after catching the ferry across from Horseshoe Bay. Very handy to the ferry terminal, being just a few blocks away. The only problem for us was the noise levels (not the fault of the Hotel I must admit)... more

The rooms were very nice, mine even had a balcony. The business center was down due to computer problems. The lady behind the front desk was very helpful and even lowered the nightly rate when she noticed I had a Nanaimo visitor guide that happened to have an ad that had a lower rate than I was quoted over the... more

Let me start by saying its a lovely new hotel with big rooms and comfy beds, in a terrible area of town. The continental breakfast has a bit to be desired with the watered down juice and scary looking eggs, sausage patties and waffles in the warmer. The window in our truck was smashed when we went to leave in... more

We stayed at the Ramada for 2 nights August 23 – 25, 2008. Upon check-in we were greeted with a large sign saying that it was a privately owned hotel and management wasn’t responsible for the car break ins which had been occurring. We then checked in with the unfriendly person at the front desk. Upon getting our room key... more

This is our first time visited Nanaimo. We travelled from Vancouver to Victoria and then Nanaimo on Aug. 22nd. We stayed in Ramada Inn as this is a newly constructed hotel which closes to downtown Nanaimo. We spent two nites from 22nd to 23rd there and were very satisfied with the room amenities. We have two kids travelled with us,... more

Jason, the supervisor was helpful and more than accommadating. I know car theft can happen anywhere, but i dont think that help like... more

This hotel is new, clean and easy to get to. Nice hotel and ok breakfast bar. We stayed there overnight on our way to Victoria. Nanaimo is a nice little city. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay and a great value. Rooms are nice, we had a small patio and could sit... more
