My Husband and I decided to venture .. check out the so much spoken about Postill Lake Lodge. It was about three weeks to Christmas, .. We were about 3/4 of the way up when I decided we should stop so as I could cut some greenery for a couple of small arrangements for the house.... We stepped out of... More

We stayed here for a few nights in August, at the waterfront campsite #3. What a beautiful place! It was so nice to be able to sit out with a cup of coffee in the morning and look out at the lake! There were many great things about this place; free firewood, beautiful view, option of renting boats, very clean... More

Went here just because it was the cheapest place near kelowna but when we got there it was amazing. The view from the cabin is so nice and the owners are very hospitable and run that place very well. Thank you to the guy that gave my son 12 dollars for opening the front gate for him so he didn't... More

I highly recommend staying there: nice setting, very quiet, great hosts. We stayed there for two days in July 2014 at cabin #7, which is just by the lake. You can shore your canoe steps from the terrace. We loved the quietness : there are only electric boats, rowers or swimmers on this lake. Cabin #7 is rustic as faithfully... More

If you're looking for some peace - you'll find it there. Don't be scared about the road that leads there - it's a bumpy 15km road through the forest and up the hill - but even with a small RV it was no problem to drive. And after that, you will be rewarded with a nice, small campground at the... More

Let me start by saying it is a really, really nice campground and the staff are really lovely, I guess we just had an unfortunate stay. We called ahead and found that there was only one site left and being the long weekend we understood and just decided to go for it. So the pros : the staff = lovely,... More

Sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay as much as you should have. The site you rented is only suitable for a tent and I do believe I advised you of that. I am an owner of this resort and it is my responsibility to do the 11 pm walk around. I do this every night to ensure... More

We are fly fisherman and have stayed at numerous fishing resorts/lodges in the interior of BC. The four of us recently spent three nights using two cabins. The owners are very friendly, hospitable, helpful, customer service oriented and informative. It is not a long drive from Kelowna. Directions are easy to follow and there is 15 km of dirt road... Sorry to hear you feel you faced some challenges while staying at our resort. We do not offer garbage cans outside of the cabins as we feel this attracts bears and other pests. We do have a centrally located area which offers garbage and recycling options. The wifi which supports my credit card machine and laptop was working fine and... More

We stayed here while visiting Kelowna. It was affordable cabin with a shared shower. It is an absolutely stunning location. The view of the lake in the morning or late at night is beautiful. It’s very quiet here. But the drive is a bit from Kelowna, we were aware of this when we booked it. The drive is up a... More

Okay, in all honesty, just because this place was not for me, doesn't mean it's not for you...if you're a fisherman. We camped here for the May Long weekend. We decided to go camping last minute with another couple of friends and this was the only place I could find availability and I know why. Here are some pros and... More

Too bad the weather wasn't nice, but that is quite typical for the May long week-end. The hiking trails were not open yet as most still had snow on them. Hope you enjoy the rest of your summer and see many beautiful places in BC! More

Was looking for a campsite during the long weekend. Everywhere I checked was booked or had a minimum night stay. My boyfriend saw a sign at the side of the highway and we decided to check it out. We are so glad we did!! The drive is a little rough on a logging road but once you get there, it... More
