The vineyards and scenery of Kelowna are wonderful, but what we will remember most was our stay at A Touch of English. Clare's homemade scones on the deck overlooking the mountains truly made us feel welcome. Kelly's breakfasts were the highlight of our days, eggs benedict, french toast, waffles. For 2 days we had a smaller room upstairs, but with... More

Want a quiet, retreat-like setting, with gorgeous rooms (and views) and amazing breakfast -- plus unparalleled hospitality? This is the place. From the moment we checked into A Touch of English, hosts Clare and Kelly had us feeling pampered and relaxed, with an evening snack and drinks. They are both so warm and friendly, living up to the slogan on... More

This is on the business card and it is TRUE. What a pleasureable experience - where one stays greatly influences the holiday and this was a 5 star experience beginning with being greeted by Clare as we disembarked from our car. The afternoon tea upon arrival is a unique delicious touch. The setting provides a view of the valley upstairs... More

Delightful English afternoon tea, fresh homemade scones with cream cheese & strawberries jam, also ginger cookies (prepare to fight for the scones) Relaxing besides the pool with magnificent views of valley and lakes (we hung out by the pool everyday at the... All above ground suites had AC. Our only drawback was our suite didn't have AC. In plus 37 that was intense. Only a fan in our bedroom. Too much for my husband and he couldn't sleep all that well. That con being said all else was a pro. The waffles were so light. Clare and Kelly, the hosts, started breakfast... More

We thank you for your comments and we are glad you had a good time with us @ A Touch of English. We definitely agree that we need to address the intense heat during the summer months and add additional a/c units to the suites, thank you for making us aware of this. More

We stayed at a "Touch of English" during the BC Day long weekend while attending a wedding in Kelowna. From the moment we arrived until we departed three days later we felt pampered and spoiled. Clare, our hostess, welcomed us with tea in the garden -- home baked scones, fresh fruit and a pot of lovely tea. Our room surpassed... More

We have now stayed here so many times as we love this place dearly. Clare and Kelly were fabulous hosts with lots of funny British humor. All rooms are named after different counties in England and are all good sizes, but also have 2 suites downstairs as well . The breakfast was gourmet style as always, cooked by Chef Kelly.... More

What can one say when upon arriving at this B&B you are served tea and scones or fresh made ginger cookies! Clare & Kelly are wonderful hosts and have created a beautiful home and rooms for your visit. As my husband commented, the bed at our first B&B were a little soft, the second B&B too hard but at A... After having to make some last minute changes to out travel plans(the fires in eastern WA closed the HWY to Winthrop) we ended up at the lovely Touch of English and couldn't have been happier! Clare runs an absolutely wonderful establishment full of British charm from the 4 o'clock tea (with fresh scones and cookies) to the delicious breakfast spread.... More
