The motel is currently under renovation so looks a mess. You check in in the family living area right now. The rooms are clean but the non smoking room still smells like smoke. I don't think the area of town is as bad as other people have said in their reviews

Pillows thin, Counter Person can only take direction and CANNOT make her own decisions. This place has turned into a dump. Was there Sept 6th with my Harley , woke up to find some crackhead stole my Tool Bag off my bike, i never had this happen anywhere.

My mom had booked this room for my dad, son and I as we made our journey from Calgary to the states. I knew as soon as we pulled up and I saw "free adult channels" advertised on the sign that it wasn't the place for me. The beds were comfortable enough if you could get past the soiled blankets... This place is dump, starting with the front desk staff was not very friendly. The room, the carpets are filthy, the bathroom, water supply line to toilet leaks the bathroom fan doesn't work worth a crap. Pillows on the bed are maybe 2 inches thick. When you open the front all you can smell is Creasy McDonalds food cooking. My rating... More

We stayed here for one night while passing though Kamloops. They are open till midnight which was good as we got there at 11:30 pm. The rooms are big and clean. Will stay there again, if passing though Kamloops again.

I booked this motel because I needed a cheap place to stay with my family while attending a mountain biking race. It is located on the highway past the main part of the city, on the way to Salmon Arm. It is 15 minutes by bicycle to the Bike Ranch, an area of Kamloops where there is mountain biking trails,... Stayed here for one night on the way to Vancouver from Banff. Guy on reception was friendly and we got our room straight away. Room itself was quite big with two double beds but they were not very comfy at all. Small TV and fridge in the room and seemed quite clean. Location - just off the highway so great... More

My husband and I checked into the Rider Motor Inn and were very pleased to find it's a clean and pleasant place to stay. It is one of the best places we have found in the economy price range. Clean, comfortable and the staff was pleasant and cooperative despite the fact that we checked in late and then called to... More
