My wife and I stopped here on a trip from Vancouver to Canmore. This is a fantastic B&B friendly people and a stunning location. Although we only stayed for 1 night, it was great to wake up to the view of the river and the hills. Food was superb and we were both well fed for the following journey. A... more

Been meaning to write this review but never got around to it! Stayed at Riverside as a pit stop to Banff September of last year and it was truly wonderful. The hostess was very friendly and we had fabulous breakfasts every morning. The rooms (we stayed in 2 different ones) were absolutely gorgeous! The decor was very tasteful and linens... more

We found this B&B on the net while on the move and we were very pleasantly suprised how lovely the place was when we arrived. The attention to detail was awesome and things had a real quality about them from the flat panel TV to the jacuzzi and of course the room itself. The complimentry bottle of wine on arrival... more

This is probably the best B&B we have ever been to. Extremely nice location besides the river (despite the fact that Kamloops isn't the most romantic place in BC), very comfortable and luxurious room, delicious breakfast, and everything worked out in detail (including the personalized name plate on the room entrance). If we had known, we might have made Kamloops... more

I can't say enough good things about Riverside and the hosts. From the friendly service, top-shelf comfort and cleanliness to the great breakfast in the panoramic river-view dining room, this is an excellent place to stay for a day or a weekend. In addition to all this, when I left my $2000 camera behind, the hostess took her time to... more

My wife and I drove from Banff to Vancouver in July, 2008 and wanted to stay overnight half-way in between the two. Kamloops fit the bill and the Riverside B and B made for a wonderful stop for us. It is on the Thompson River, a fairly modern house with beautifully terraced grounds leading down to the river, a dock... more

The view from the back of the house, and our rooms, took our breath away. After driving through Kamloops we were unsure what we'd get, but The Riverside is on the edge of the city and is an oasis. there is nothing Cynthia and Gordon have overlooked - the rooms are beautiful (we stayed in Loon Nest - cosy, very... more

We stayed at the Riverside B&B in Kamloops on 12th Sept & had an excellent overnight stay. The room we had was lovely & really spacious (Coyote Howl). We were shown Eagle Soar too which was equally nice & spacious. The house is in a beautfiul location backing onto the river & you can relax in the hot tub after... more

Stayed one night -- which is about all we would want to stay. Our room was in the basement and we don't recall being told that it would be when we booked. We usually find basement rooms musty and this was the case here. That aside the view across the North Thompson River was great, as was an afternoon sitting... more

My husband and I stayed at the Riverside bed and breakfast for one night in early August. Our original reservation had been for two nights, but we called the day before arrival to change to one night only. We offered to pay a 30% cancellation fee, but our hostess waived the fee. This change helped us out enormously with our... more
