Stayed here as the overnight stop from the Rock Mountaineer - had no choice of the Hotel. Kamloops was closed. No free internet to see what what is happening in town - noisy air con - such that you cannot have it on and do anything else. more

Kamloops is not a tourist destination but a stopover on the way across the Rockies. The Plaza is very, very dated and if florals are not 'your thing' you are going to be in trouble! The hotel is higgledy piggledy in its layout and the lift is over seventy years old. Despite all this we had an excellent night's sleep.... more

This hotel is simply a cool old joint. If you're into that, you'll enjoy your stay. If you are more comfortable with modern accomodations, you need to stay somewhere else. We were pleasantly surprised by the Heritage Plaza, especially after staying at the Banff Springs Hotel and Chatea Lake Louise. The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Kamloops within easy walking distance of everywhere. The attention of staff was way above average and the room was very comfortable and clean.
