I have recently stayed at The Coast Canadian Inn and I had the best experience, it was super close to the downtown strip and Riverside park and I could walk to anywhere I wanted to go. There is a very friendy shuttle that picked me up right at the hotel and straight to the Airport. The rooms are a little... more

The building looks really awful, all grey and dull. Also indoors it seems as if not much has changed the last 30 years or so. Its a very blend hotel nothing special at all. The room was spatious and clean but there are hardly any colours everything is grey, white, brown or beige. It looked like it hadnt been refurbished... more

The Coast has a great location in downtown Kamloops, within easy walking distance of the river park and downtown strip. The rooms and clean and comfortable and the service good. The food in the restaurant and room service are the same high standard as others in the Coast chain. However, it is not a new hotel, the decor is dated,... more

No massive problems but the area is a little dodgy (very few carparks in the hotel grounds so we had to park in the seedy carpark behind the hotel) and the rooms are very dated and basic. OK for a basic stopover but not the most pleasant surrounds. more

Stayed 3 nights in July, Fri to Sunday. Walls of room are paper thin. Heard people next door all the time. Walls are so thin, could even hear them unzipping their luggage. Sunday, 2:00 AM, awoken by drunks yelling outside the hotel, who continued as they moved inside the hotel to our floor. Awoken again at 5:00 AM with another... more

Stayed overnight in a Superior Room (King Bed) on Victoria Day for a business meeting the next day. Good: - Free WiFi (but slow) - Reasonable sized room - Extensive toiletries - single usage bottles and large-sized econo-friendly ones. - Friendly staff - Free printing - Nice view of the mountains from the hotel room & ability to open windows... more

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst travelling through Canada. A very clean comfortable room with lots of little extras (disposable cups to take out your coffee in the room - pump dispensers in bathroom for shower gel and shampoo). Pool area v.good. Towels provided. Good Greek restaurant two blocks away. Hotel breakfast good for value and food. A/C in... more

Stayed here during our six day road trip to Canada. I had read some poor reviews and was a little apprehensive about staying here (one of our friends who we were traveling with had made the room arrangements). I had nothing to worry about. The room was one of the nicest and least expensive on our trip. Everyone at the... more

Generally, this is an all-around okay hotel. The walls are thin so if your neighbor has their tv on, you're going to hear it. The decor in the rooms is fine, nothing special. The tv is small, about 17". There is no fan in the bathroom. On the upside, I found the beds to be firm, but not too hard.... more

We stopped off in Kamloops on our way to Jasper. The hotel is okay for a stop over however would not recommend a lengthy stay. Its very old fashioned and there is very little to do or see. more
