We always stay at the Fortune for Thanksgiving, as My sister is only a few blocks down the street. We have been coming here for about 10 yrs. It is very quiet & clean, and They keep updating it,We noticed this past Oct. They had put in flat screen t.v.s. There is lots of fast food & dining within the... More

This is a "motor inn" type of establishment, on other words a 2-story motel where you park in front of your room (if you're on the ground floor obviously), and there is no interior corridor. There is also no restaurant or breakfast. But the rooms are nice and modern, the showers work well and the beds are comfortable. Check-in was... More

I stay here fairly often on business. The staff is always friendly and helpful, I always feel welcomed back. The rooms are clean and fairly updated. Theres good food and lots of amenities nearby (especially if you like Greek food). I stay in hotels all over BC and I'm always happy to find myself staying at Fortune.

I am visiting from the NWT. I wanted to stay in the Northshore area of Kamloops. I went to the Fortune Motel. I saw they had a "tripadvisor sign"; I felt relieved. I proceeded to book a room with the reservation person .. a smoking room with a dog. The manager then came in and decided to take a look... More

Good location, fairly priced, clean, even has a micro wave, it was very hard to find an accommodation with a micro wave at that time, friendly staff, easy to access, fairly quiet. Certainly will consider staying there again.

On our recent trip we decided ot stay in Kamloops B.C. While there we stayed at the Fortune Motel and were very pleased with the results. If your looking for a clean, quiet place to stay might I suggest the Fortune Motel. It's centrally located and pet friendly which is huge to us as we always travel with our little... More

Came to Kamloops for a wedding. Busy time in this town means high rates, $120 including tax for a great professional room is hard to find. I will always stay here on my way through town. Everywhere else was $160 and for why? This owner is really cool with a lot of class, and there's a pool!

We stayed here on our way through to Vancouver, this was the first hotel we stopped at. It was quite expensive and he rooms were very basic and simple. On our way back through Kamloops we stayed at the pub in town and for a cheaper price stayed in a much nicer place, in walking distance to the city centre... More

We used this hotel as a stopover in Kamloops during our flydrive from the Rockies down to Vancouver. Typical motel like set up, extremely pleasant lady on reception, checked in with no problems even though they were not expecting us, administration error with booking agent. Room very clean and tidy, microwave and fridge in the room. Free wi-fi to boot.... More
