Clean rooms, newly renovated and very friendly staff. Great place to stop for a night and all for under a $100! It was located close to all the amenities that you would need. Easy to find and easy to get back on the highway in the morning to get going again.

We thought that we would try out this place, since Karen we like seeing from another local hotel is now working at this location. She is very nice, and always knows what we are looking for. The person who signed us in on our day of arrival was really nice, and was very knowledgeable about the general area. The hotel... More

We were making a long drive home and were too tired to continue and so we randomly stopped here off of highway 1. I almost never stay somewhere unless I've researched it and so I was a bit apprehensive but this place was great! Very quick check in with a pleasant staff member and the price was very reasonable. We... More

It is clean and reasonable. It's in a great location - close to the university which is why we were there. The motel is close to shopping and lots of restaurants. You can walk just about anywhere from there to shop or eat. They accept pets which was also important to us as we had our two small dogs with... More

It doesn't look like much outside, but the rooms have been nicely remodelled. The rooms aren't large but are great for a business trip or road trip. Great value. There are BBQ's to use and a poll in summer (outdoor). Quiet and just off the main road not far from the downtown area. Pets can stay without an extra fee,... More

This is an "old Motel" that has been well maintained. The rooms are the of the standard type, but we were pleased with the good maintenance and general cleanliness. An outside gas barbecue is available for guests. All national stores and restaurants are 1/4 mile drive up the street with easy access back to the main highway.

Only a few hundred metres off of Columbia St. and yet so quiet! Easy parking and access. Great welcome at the front desk, with lots of newspapers, internet, maps, etc. The room was noticeably cleaner than any other motel I have ever stayed at in the same price range. Nice touches included microwave, fridge, satellite tv and an excellent mattress.... More

Had an unexpected stay in Kamloops last week for 3 days.... Our room was just what we needed..... very clean, cozy, quiet, and close to the hospital and downtown. Picnic tables and bbqs a nice touch. Small pool area was a nice place to sit as well. Would recommend.

I just finished a long-term stay at the Grandview Motel and I was quite happy there. It would seem to most people, I think, that a motel should be affordable, have clean rooms with comfortable beds, and offer friendly service. I found the Grandview Motel to meet these criteria. From my experience, the owners/hosts did their best to meet the... More

This motel is family run and the family lives onsite. The rooms are large and clean. They have refrigerators but no utensils. There are propane BBQ's for guest (and family) use. There are outdoor picnic tables for eating or whatever. There is a pool which looks a good size. The family do their best to help. There are restaurants and... More
