Stayed in the Quamichan suite for two nights during a recent visit. The bed was wonderful and after I figured out the air conditioning, the temperature was pleasant. Loved the great fluffy towels and the dining room service. The food is a cut above normal B and B fare. The owner was helpful and pleasant and made us feel at... More

Stayed in the Maple Bay room during Summer. While the rooms are air conditioned it was pretty uncomfortably hot! The rooms are located upstairs so that didn't help. Otherwise the room was perfect for our stay. There was some items left in the bathroom obviously from a previous guest when we checked in but overall the Inn was comfortable and... More

The Quamichan Inn is a Tudor-style boutique hotel with good dining arrangements. The Inn was an old house that had plenty of rooms, most of which have been used as quiet, private dining areas for groups of small to mid-size. There is a large dining room that can accommodate 50 or so. The bar is well stocked and provides customers... More

The Quamichan Inn is in a lovely, serene setting in the Duncan/North Cowichan area of Vancouver Island. It's an easy 1 to 1.5 hour drive from Victoria and well worth the trip. The room we stayed in was a bit snug (queen size bed and a pull-out) but we were 3 and had quite a bit of luggage since we... More

Had one of my mothers dear old friends stay at the Quamichan last weekend. I can't thank them enough for looking after the elderly gentleman. All the staff went out of their way to accommodate all his needs. We had a wonderful dinner there on the busy Saturday night, and couldn't have asked for better service, food, and bevies!! Thanks... We attended this restaurant a couple of weeks prior to Christmas, and when we arrived they were had one waitress (she was excellent and wasn't her fault), took 45 minutes to place a drink order, no orange juice (cause they had a party the nite before-guess they couldn't stop at the grocery store to replenish) , chicken was served raw... This is an old, quirky big, rambling house made into a restaurant and rooms for rent. The rooms are quaint and comfortable. I've been in them but never stayed overnight. The restaurant is a collection of tasteful rooms of several sizes, capable of accommodating differing-sized groups of people. The largest could host a moderately-sized wedding quite easily, while the smallest... More

We’re not sure what to make of the enthusiastic reviews on this place. It looked charming in the photo, but it was not particularly warm or welcoming despite the weather. We found it indescribably creepy, a good setting for a murder mystery. The entire first floor is the restaurant; the rooms are upstairs. The restaurant looks like it last had... More

We stayed at this beautiful Inn for just one night and fell in love (with the Inn). With only being 10 or 15 minutes from downtown Duncan this Inn makes a change from the more common hotels and motels found on the main drag. With a beautiful country setting and up from the main road it truly is a peaceful... More

This is a lovely small country Inn just 10 minutes out of Duncan. We have stayed twice, the first time was in desperation because there were a couple of tournaments in town, one of which a family member was in & when we discovered how wonderful it was, we returned two weeks later. Please don't picture this "Inn" as a... More
