Great place to stay in and a great place to go. The restaurant has excellent breakfast fare but the service is slow when busy. Food is good, especially the omelettes. The lounge is excellent place to have a great meal in a happy environment. Staff are great. Hotel is very clean and the rooms are the best in Dawson City.... More

Thanks again for another great stay in Dawson. We enjoy the kitchenette unit in the Historic Yukon Hotel (owned by the Eldorado Hotel). We have stayed here 4 times and love the room and the location. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, well stocked and the staff were courteous and pleasant. We look forward to returning again.

Dawson is a small town to start with and the Eldorado is right in the middle. Walking distance to it all. Large clean room with two queen beds and clean bathroom. Free wi-fi. Restaurant is great for breakfast.

A very comfortable hotel in the centre of Dawson City with well appointed rooms, comfortable beds and very friendly service. Both evening meals and breakfasts have a good range to choose from and are very tasty with excellent (not over the top) portions. Prices are reasonable and consistent with Canada. Not bad considering its remoteness.

Stayed two nights in the Yukon Hotel, which is owned by the Eldorado. The Yukon is a charming historic property with 6 rooms. Ours included a kitchenette. It is very quiet and and located ideally for walking around town. I would request the Yukon again over the main Eldorado any time!

I always heard good things about the Eldo', and have been there nemerous times before. Recently I went there with my family, and boy did they mess up. The service was poor, he did not check up, and though it was quiet, and they messed up my order! They didnt fix the mistake, and even laughed at the mistake and... More

The wait staff was very unprepared for the breakfast crowd and turned people away even a faintly with children when one person was seated at a table for six. The food was average and considering the indifferent service I would look elsewhere next time and not consider the hotel for accommodation given our experience.

We stayed here for 1 night in July and had a clean, modern and comfy double bed room. The girl from New Zealand who checked us in was super friendly. They have a laundry room which came in handy on our road trip. Dawson and the Eldorado hotel is a bit like going back in time but thats half the... More

We recently stayed for a week at the Yukon Hotel (part of the Eldorado) in Dawson. This is a historic building dating back to the days of the Gold Rush. It is a in great location, just across the road from the Klondike River. While keeping with it's heritage, we found this hotel quiet, very comfortable, clean and well appointed.... More

We are 5 members of a Hiking club from BARBADOS who travelled to Dawson to hike the "Tombstones" for a few days, The staff at the ELDORADO made our trip the most memorable we have had in our travels around the world. Dawson is one of the friendliest places we have travelled for outdoor expeditions. The owners and their staff... More
