We reserved a room in the Heritage House for two separate nights. From the outside it looked like published on the website. It looked nice. On our first night our room preference was not honored although we had a confirmation for that. On the second stay it was honored. The rooms are quite spacious. The rooms were clean except on... We had planned this holiday for almost a year and wanted to find something that matched the whole "Dawson" idea. We had riverside cabin #6 (which is actually a half-duplex with #5) for 4 nights. It was set up perfectly for the two of us - fridge, coffee maker, sink, 2-burner stove/oven and was only missing a microwave but this... More

These cabins are right on the Yukon River and close to downtown. We stayed for three nights, my parents in the riverside cabin and my brother and I in one of the tents. A bit rustic but very clean and extremely functional. Great cooking facilities for the tents and very quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Was perfect for us - one of the few places that are pet friendly in Dawson ! We stayed in the cabin with the queen bed and it was a good fit for the two of us. One might be distracted by the ferry at night, as the cabin is very close to the river.

We stayed in the heritage cabin. The cabin was very spacious and had everything you would need for your comfort. Owner Doug was very friendly. If he had a the next night free we would have stayed and tried the wall tents, they looked more fun!!!!!!

Stayed here in July 2015. Manager was very nice, came to speak to us upon arrival and was very friendly, etc. The room had all the amenities, such as dishes provided, fresh towels, running water and a bbq. The bbq had a broken handle and the automatic start didn't work, but we got it going eventually. It was a clean... More

Doug Cotter, the proprietor, was very accommodating and did his best to provide us with everything we needed. The outdoor kitchen and bathroom (for the tent cabin) was very nice and everything was clean and kept up. Some of the other places on the property had a front balcony overlooking the Yukon but I enjoyed the seclusion of the tents... More

Four of us slept well in apartment 1 with a kitchenette, coffee provisions and enough room to play cards! This cabin is within walking distance to town but feels fairly remote. The buildings are 100+ years old and family owned. A beautiful view over the Yukon River and easy access to West Dawson ferry. Very peaceful stay!

4 of us on a motorcycle trip rented 2 cabins on our way to Inuvik and again on our way back. The cabins were great! they are just on the edge of town and it is quiet Don't expect a 5 star hotel, these ar 100 year old buildings on permafrost so things creak and are not always square but... More

I didn't want to put my visitors in one of the regular hotels in town so this looked interesting and we were not disappointed. Accommodations are basic but perfectly adequate. There is a shared BBQ in a green space. I had brought our own dinner along as I knew this was available. A nice change from having to eat out.... More
