Nice hotel in Dawson. Restaurant is available as well as lounge in the hotel. Next block up is Downtown Gerties, a casino and can can show hall. Rooms are spacious, beds very comfortable. The decor is interesting, tries to fit the time period. Food at the restaurant is good, plenty of it.

At check-in time they only had one employee who was fielding calls, selling tours and checking guests in. While I was the 2nd person in line it took over 20 minutes to get checked in. Our cabin was cozy and was perfect for our dog with lots of areas for walking. The cabin was very dated, which would have been... More

Some reviews strike me as too harsh. Filthy weather forced us to abandon the tent and look for a room. At the last minute we obtained a cabin at Triple J. Yes, the cabin was expensive, but let's be realistic: Northern operators have only six months to get a return on their investment. The cabin had a few blemishes: under... More

Recently stayed in a cabin and it's ok but too expensive for what you get. It's $169 + taxes a night for a small cabin. The bed was not good and we only received 2 pillows. We did ask for another one at the front desk and did get one but unfortunately did not get a pillow case for it.... More

We went down the street to the hotel for breakfast Sunday morning. The menu is somewhat limited but not so much so that you can't find something good to eat. The Lox and Bagels are great with lots of cream cheese, red onions,, capers and lemon. And all for a decent price.

The new annex, behind the hotel, is sparkling clean, quiet, and has a lovely laundry room with state-of-the-art machines. The laundry is free, the Internet is $5 per day. During the summer ask for an annex room facing away from the parking lot - the sun will not beat into the room during the day and the light will not... More

We stayed at the hotel for three nights. On our trip via Vancouver, Kelowna, White horse it was the first time we had experienced unfriendly reception staff which made us feel uncomfortable. The room was in the main hotel and was incredibly hot. Although the windows opened there were no fly guards on them and the hotel supplied one small... More

I am a woman over the age of 35 who was recently in Dawson travelling solo for business and had booked a pet cabin with kitchenette 2 months in advance, knowing how busy this city is in June. Upon arrival, the front desk clerk, a short man with red hair, possibly management, glared at me red faced, until I told... More

New, super clean, simple, no pictures on the walls, which suits my minimalist style. Free laundromat. Real glasses. No tub but huge shower. No fridge or microwave, though. Very quiet. Efficient staff. Night tables and lamps on both sides of the queen-sized bed. Clothes storage with lots of real hangers and a luggage rack. Lots of outlets. Ample surfaces Did... More

The hotel is a few short blocks back from the Yukon River but in this small town you are pretty much close to everything! Sour Dough Saloon is home to the Sour Toe Cocktail, which is a fun thing to try! The Drunken Goat has excellent Greek food! See Peggy at the Tourism office and she will help you with... More
