My husband and I were married in Williams Lake on August 4, 2012. Steve and Emily hosted us for a couple nights following the wedding. It was a great place to have some "downtime" after all the stress and excitement of our big day, which was very much appreciated. Beautiful room with very comfortable mattress (we stayed in "The Dukes")... More

We loved our stay at Juniper Trails. I was thrilled when Steve and Emily told us our 6 year old was more than welcome. They even set up a small Ikea bed in our room. It was a winter wonderland and a great place for our son to enjoy the outdoors and the multitude of animals. Duke spent hours playing... More

Moving from Vancouver to Williams Lake for work, our small family needed temporary accommodations until our housing was ready. After seeing Steve and Emily's website by chance we decided to try Juniper Trails for our first week in the Cariboo. What a fortunate decision! After a long drive, the warm and genuine welcome we received upon arrival made us feel... More

Thank you so much to Steve Harkies and Emily Sonntag for their hospitality and the use of their beautiful parlour for our small family wedding. The room comfortably sat our 20 guests and the couch was perfect for our VIP grandparents. The stunning stone fire place was amazing as the back drop for pictures and the large front windows held... A real find. Spacious, relaxing, very well appointed. Clean, modern rooms, terrific hosts, friendly dogs and terrific breakfast. We cannot say enough about this B & B. We will be back and will now measure all other B & B compared to the "Juniper Trails perfect 10" Thanks Steve for a great stay.

After a week of trekking backroads and remote lakes across BC it was a real treat to discover this location. The decor, hospitable owners and pastoral location make it one of the nicest B&Bs we've visited. Very reasonable price to boot

Can't say enough about Steve and Emily's hospitality and warmth. The rooms are upscale, modern, clean and comfortable, and all ensuite. Surprising to find heated floors in the bathrooms, and truly comfortable mattresses. Dedicated parlour for guests means that you never feel you are intruding on the owners' privacy. Steve, an accomplished artist, has decorated the walls with his photos... More

Steve and Emily are a warm, grounded, multi-talented hosts. We were guests for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Little Hannah, a two week old donkey was a precious prescense. The animals reflect the love which they receive. Even the horses are friendly. The only exception is Pat the Cat. She was aloof and disinterested in the guests. Our... More

We stayed at Juniper Trails for 3 wonderful days and nights. Steve and Em are terrific hosts, they made us feel right at home and comfortable, yet still respected our space.
