A colleague and I spent three nights at the Coast Fraser Inn in Williams Lake, BC from November 1 to 4, 2009. We each had king rooms on the 4th floor (I had room 411). The hotel is moderately priced and situated on Highway 97 near the main road into downtown Williams Lake. Although my room faced the highway, there... more

Stayed here for one night when driving through to northern BC. We found the staff helpful and friendly, we were traveling with our dog and it wasn't an issue. We stayed on the 1st floor (1 floor below the lobby due to the location hillside) in a room with 2 double beds. The furnishings and rooms were modern, motel style... more

In early August, we spent 2 nights at the Fraser Inn while attending a funeral in Williams lake. Our experience at the Fraser Inn was very positive. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The room was outfitted with a king sized bed, sitting area with coffee table and two comfortable chairs, a small refrigerator and a desk. The... more

We were looking for a convenient and comfortable location that we could stay at during the time in between our two portions of the trip, one to Northern BC to Smithers, and then one to Nimpo Lake. We looked through the Approved Accommodation guide, as well as the internet for hotels that we were able to stay at in Williams... more

We stayed here twice in July 2009, once on our way up North and once on our way down, both times we booked rooms through the Coast website the day before our stay so room selection was limited. Our first stay was in room 305, a good room with a king sized bed, a couple of chairs and (most importantly)... more

Previous comments about the Coast Fraser Inn are accurate: it has been recently remodelled, the rooms are clean and comfortable and there's wireless internet available. The bath was clean but on the top floor the water pressure in the shower left something to be desired. The staff are friendly and helpful. What no one has mentioned is the free breakfast.... more

What a difference 2 Million Dollars makes. The new Coast Hotel Fraser Inn is great! Words like new, clean and "is this the same hotel?" come to mind. If you remember the old Fraser Inn, right away when you enter the new lobby, you will be shocked at the new transformation that has taken place. The old Coffee stop has... more

Major renos being done. Bed comfortable. Lobby in unrenovated hallway as was very limited breakfast. Charging $1.25 for extra coffee pack in room. Sauna closed. Coffee shop non exist=ent. They should change the website to warn visitors as we would have picked another hotel. Not at all happy with having to walk thru hallways that are being stripped of wallpaper... more
