I stay at a lot of Sandman Hotels (as a matter of fact I am staying at the Kelowna Sandman tonight)! This is the first time I stayed at the Williams Lake Sandman because I always stay in Quesnel. This Sandman has two buildings, one that has all suites and the other that is similar to the Kelowna hotel. It's... more

The Sandman Williams Lake is like my home away from away. The staff are very friendly and welcome myself by name each time I come to check in. I travel to Williams Lake quite frequently on business and I have come to really appreciate their corporate program with great rates. After a long day to come back to a clean... more

I have been traveling through out BC interior for the last 13 years. The last time I stayed at this hotel was two years ago. It was in fair condition then.I have stayed in the suite side never in the older side. I now know why. I did book a non smoking room on the suite suite but when I... more

This hotel is very old and outdated . Our room was smelly and the bed had springs sticking out of it. We complained to the manager and she had a no care attitude about it. more

The Sandman has to be one of the most run-down hotels in William's Lake. We booked a room in the older part of the hotel on the second floor - right up the stairs from the reception desk. We were shown another room, but it smelled of smoke. During the night, we could hear people going up and down the... more

I stayed at the Sandman while in Williams Lake for business in February 2008. The lobby of the property is well-maintained and the staff were pleasant. Beyond the lobby, however, is another story. I had asked for a regular room but was given a kitchenette room instead. I began to feel nervous on the walk from the front desk to... more

The Sandman in Williams Lake is located steps from downtown. The hotel is an older property; though the suites section is much newer. It is a family managed facility (they live on-site). The facility is clean and provides basic amenities. My room, for example, did not have an internet connection. However, there is a business centre in the basement available... more

As a frequent business traveler, the Sandman Inn is arguably the best place in town; I try to make a point of not staying in Williams Lake. (Incidentally, the second best place is probably the Super 8.)The best feature of the Sandman is the location; it’s on the edge of the downtown core and nearby some of the town’s best... more
