We arrived in Barkerville and spent a lovely day exploring the old ghost town and chatting with the staff. We completed the day by staying at this unique location... a quaint bed and breakfast in the middle of Barkerville. The bed was warm and had a great feather doona.. The room and shower was quite small but clean and tidy....

We spent 2 enjoyable days in Barkerville. The actors giving the tours were very well versed in their subjects. We stayed overnight in the Kelly house B & B, which was authentic and satisfactory, though the horses across the street did keep us awake, banging around in their stalls.I would like to see the old "Ruston" generator running, somrday
