Our first problem at the Big Creek Lodge was that the rooms we stayed in (No. 1 and 3) were really noisy. Okay so we booked this lodge with high expectations, looks wonderful online. Except online there is no way of telling what sort of welcome you will have, how long the drive is from the main road to the lodge and how absolutely awful the food is. The owner was rude beyond words, and we cancelled the rest of our stay... More
