If you ever have the opportunity to stay away the Liard Lodge DON'T! Drive another hour. The room was dirty, cold (10 degrees) and there was snow on the bed. We requested another room it was dirty and nonstop speaking from a vent made sleep impossible. Staff was very rude. Stay away from this place.

The lodge wasn't anything fancy, and we weren't expecting much by any means. The rooms have no amenities, the room we were in was incredibly small and didn't have a bathtub (just a stand-up shower) and the sink was outside the bathroom. The operator seems keen on charging people excessively for subpar service and will add on 'additional charges' at... More

When I read other's reviews I did not know what to think. After our stay I would recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the Hotsprings in Winter. A hot meal, toasty warm room, hot showers and a couple minute walk across the street to the best hot springs is perfect. This is an older lodge in a remote location.... More

My wife and I stayed for two days (charged for three) in October 2014. This was our second drive across B.C. and Alaska on the Alcan. We love the North country. If you stay at the Lodge you should be careful: watch your head - low ceilings in the rooms and it would be prudent to keep your credit card... More

Originally I was going to stay in Watson Lake but opted to stay here so I wouldn't feel rushed at the hot springs and I was happy that I did! Really nice hotel in the middle of nowhere. The room was clean and the restaurant was good as well. Only downside I found was the price; however, I'm not complaining... More

This property is right across the street from Liard Hotsprints, and that is pretty much it's only redeeming feature. I stayed here with my father so that we could visit Liard Hotsprings and we were pretty disappointed in the property itself. Not only were the rooms expensive, but there are literally no amenities offered. The room offered two extremely small... More

Booked room with 2 queen beds & it was really cozy with big quilts, window that opened facing back. Large bath w/shower. Quiet. Gentleman (Allan) friendly & lady in restaurant & checkin was really friendly & accommodating. Food limited & serve only until 7:00 pm but sandwiches avail after that. No TV or phone but did have free wifi in... More

I stayed here recently, and was told by friends that it's location is walking distance from the Hot Springs. This is true and is likely why this establishment can get away with neglecting many of the other basic hotel essentials. The rooms were very basic (see other posts). We arrived at 7:50pm which is 10 mins before the kitchen and... More

We called the day before and were told there were plenty of campsites open for the next day. On arrival two young men (boys) checked us in told us that we should pick out out site. 11 thru 20 were open. We proceeded to site 12 and hooked up I started lunch and string if class a campers rolled in... More

The RV Park is bare essentials, and the showers are abominable. The other big problem is that we were not told of the closing time for the lodge restaurant. When we arrived just at closing time, we were rudely turned away while they continued serving to other guests and the lodge employees. Also, the WiFi in the lodge was very... More
