Considering that I reviewed the hotel and it read that it was clean...I was really disappointed upon arrival on the filthy/stained rugs in the foyer...and that not only was the carpet in the room not vacuumed, the fridge smelled like moldy oranges and the room was worn out looking (scratched enamel throughout bathroom, shabby chairs, dated furniture)...low-class setting for the... first impression was clean, cool (working a/c) but small. the room was quiet, the pool was a little too warm but also clean. the bed was the most comfortable bed ever!!! loved it! even my husband loved the bed. the continental breakfast was ok, a little crowded but nice.

First, the positive, the staff were quite friendly and tried to accommodate for the hotels shortcomings. I was recommended this hotel by a friend who had spent time there and said their experience was exceptional and was quite shocked that they would have had such a different experience than I did. We were staying their for a well needed nights... More

The hotel looks to be about 40 some years old and nothing has been done for it since. Stained, ripped carpeting. No AC in hallways, pool area, breakfast area. Rooms smelled. Beds were comfortable but had a beetle crawling on me when in it. Rooms small especially bathroom. Couldn't turn cold water tap on in bathtub. Tried to open window... More

The light switch by the door doesn't work. A/C is probably 20 years old and tiny. A powerbar by the tv has at least 5 different things plugged into it. Old tube tv. The building and hallways are very run down. Not worth the $100.

Tried this hotel as a one night getaway and was disgusted by the room. Hair in the tub and sheets, missing paint and dents all over. I couldn't even stomach taking off my shoes. The man at the front tried to be helpful but the manager, Beena, was less than ideal. Will stay far away from this hotel and even... More

We were headed to Drumheller and decided to stay in Red Deer for the night. Rooms are tired looking. Water stains in hallways. Spiders in bathroom. No toiletries. Rough towels. A very basic hotel for the price. Average breakfast bar. We will give it a miss and try somewhere else next time.

I was in Red Deer for business and needed a place to stay that didn't cost me an arm and a leg. After seeing the horrible reviews for this hotel, I was really hesitant to book it... but for that awesome price, I couldn't resist. When I got there, I was greeted by the front staff, and they were extremely... More
