Clean and comfortable bed, pillows and sheets. Clean bathroom and towels. Good air conditioning. Friendly staff. Free WiFi. Old and aged interior, furniture, TV, carpet, etc. Really old and sort of smelly closet. I didn't feel hanging my shirts inside! This Hotel needs a real makeover! More

Spent a couple of nights here while attending meetings in one of their conference rooms. At $150 per night, the hotel is sure to be challenged in competing against the others in the area. The hotel is older and needs updating. We ate in the lounge and the service was truly poor. Had to request service, then utensils (which were... More

If you have to stay overnight in Red Deer your options are limited, but the Red Deer Lodge is certainly worth a try. Good, central location, nice sized rooms, good price, helpful and friendly staff — and the fastest WiFi I've seen yet in a hotel (and free — unlike some larger hotels I could mention). Downsides are some of... More

This hotel needs an update. The pool side rooms and atrium is a unique concept but the money paid for the room was ridiculous. My family paid $420 bucks for two nights in the hotel. The rooms are small, the TV was 20 years old, and we got one tiny bar of soap for the entire stay. There isn't even... More

I stayed here with a group of colleagues and we all thought the hotel was sub-par. A lot of people in my group had to change rooms at least once in order to get something even close to satisfactory. I had to switch twice. The first room I was in (which I did not sleep in) was in the tower,... More

This place was FANTASTIC!!! Stayed for 2 nights and I honestly cannot remember the last time I had a good sleep like that. The pool side room is a great idea - until a hockey team of 12 year holds stay here! Very noisy with them in the pool area yelling constantly and echoing through the whole place, parents took all the benches and had their own party while their kids tore the pool apart - our kids couldn't even use the pool.... Walked in off the street to book a room. I'd just come off an unfortunately extended trip thanks to Air Canada pilots not showing up for work, and was looking forward to catching up on my sleep.
