We have stayed at the Thriftlodge every time we went through Lethbridge (3 times). It is your typical lowcost motel insofar as appearance and decor. The service people are exceptionally friendly. Despite being adjacent to a major throughway it is quiet. It is right across the street from a huge city park complete with Japanese flower gardens and a lake... More

As i drove down to Lethbridge my thoughts couldn't drift from the terrible reviews i read before leaving. Yet writing this review sitting in said hotel relaxing in my room ,i feel all the worry was for not, with views of scribbled walls and bug infested beds in my head i was relieved to walk into a clean room, with... This is an older 2-story motel. Rooms are clean and large with small fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. The included breakfast was nicely done. The location was perfect for us, just across from Henderson Park and an easy walk to the Nikka Yuko garden. Given its location on a major street, it was surprisingly quiet. Despite being July, the pool had... More

I stayed at the thriftlodge in Lethbridge for only one night and I must say it was the worst stay at a hotel I've ever had. The rooms were dirty and poorly maintained. There were large cracks on the wall and the air conditioner was falling out of the wall. The locks didn't work properly and on top of all... More

We went to Lethbridge for a family wedding. We had booked our rooms in April and gauranteed them with a credit card(3 rooms) We ask for main level rooms and were assured that they would be available along with a cot. When we arrived, there was only one on the main floor which they gave to my friend, telling us... More

You get what you pay for, and if you want a nice cheap hotel this is it. It is quiet, clean, no bedbugs. It is fairly basic but what do you expect from a cheap motel? Really? More

Booked on line (Deceptive) Should have checked here first.BOOKED ON LINE . "NO REFUND OR CANCELLATION CLAUSE", SO BAD THAT I PAID THEM NOT TO STAY THERE: Chemicals in the room caused Asthmatic attack, TV did not work, bed tilted to one Windows screwed shut, so no breathable air, bugs crawling on walls, have sent report to Lethbridge Health Authorities,... Internet doesn't work, nor does the staff care when I asked them to fix it. T.V. Cuts in and out.. Can't open window as there is no screen, no bath plug and bums hang around the parking lot. I'm not a "ritzy" type person but I do expect clean, basic and functional ammenities. More

Before my trip I read some really scary reviews. I was afraid of what I might encounter. My room was clean and orderly. The curtains need a little help they were falling off a little. They need a little TLC. Bathroom was good, fully stocked with towels and soap. The fridge does need to be elevated. The door rubbed on... More

We stayed here for 3 days. My husband thought immediately that the bed sheets were not clean. We had a pet and it was the only place with a vacancy that accepted pets. I had woke up with bites every morning but we do geocaching which took us down to the river where there were lots of mosquitos. So I... More
