This rustic spot is in a very beautiful setting within a 3 minute walk to the Miette Hot Springs. The 45 minute drive from Jasper is really beautiful: lakes and rivers on Highway 16 and mountains and forests on the road into Miette. The Resort is really secluded with nothing but the Hot Springs nearby. The Fall foliage can be... More

After exploring the Miette hot spring's ruins, the river and walking some of the surrounding trails, we were ready for lunch and the Hot Springs Resort restaurant was the best place to be. Walking inside it was log fire smoky as the fire had just been lit and lovely meaty cooking smells were coming from the kitchen. Even though we... More

My first experience at Miette Hot Springs brought us up the mountain on their closing weekend, October 2014. Normally we would be camping in our small tag along, but with the campground closed for the season, we decided to stay at this rustic retreat. We met the owners John and Anna and immediately noticed the pride and hospitality associated with... More

We enjoyed our first visit to this beautiful nature filled resort. The hot springs were a treat after a day of hiking in the Ice Fields. Everything about our dinner was perfect!. Loved the rustic warm décor and the warm inviting staff. Our server Shay was very helpful and patient with our large group. The beds are very comfy. Best... More

We made a decision to stay the night at the resort as I was tired of sleeping on an air mattress in the tent. The cabins were all booked out so we were given a motel/cabin room. It was basic, no tv or kitchen. Really great location as we got one of the rooms nearest the springs, I think the... More

We spent an hour or so in the hot springs (a pool fed by the hot springs) and then a light supper at the Cafe. Not very expensive and very relaxing. Towels and swine ear available for rent at minimal fees.

John, Anna and family have owned this resort for many years and make you feel at home. Rooms are always clean and pleasant, no frills, just comfortable. Frig and kitchen are convenient for those wanting to be self-contained and economical. But the dining room is so pleasant, well priced with friendly staff and family cooked meals, including home made Greek... More

Stayed in the motel this time around and found it to be quite pleasant. The rooms are tiny and there are no amenities like a tv, wifi, or hair dryer, but for one night it was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Conveniently located near the hot pools where you can rent swim towels, and even swim suits... More

Its a bit of a dive to the resort. About 17 km up the mountain off of the main highway. We stayed In one of the chalets units The chalet had one separate bedroom with two queen beds. There is a pullout sofa couch in the small main room. There was enough room for the three of us. Kitchen had... More
