When we arrived at this hotel, we were a little disappointed - until we went inside. Very warm and welcoming and very nice decor. The hotel is on the edge of town but within walking distance (about 15 mins). Very good service and good food. Nice clean rooms.

I stayed as part of a Rocky Mountaineer journey. We had a room with a balcony that was spacious, clean, contemporary and comfortable. I loved the toiletries they provided and room was perfect. They have some rooms with an interior view and I would definitely not recommend these!! The set menu as part of the dining plan was very very... More

Rooms are new (or renovated) & clean. Front desk staff is friendly. No outdoor hot tub (like I originally thought) and indoor pool is slightly chilly. Hearthstone restaurant wasn't a very good choice to eat at. Prices are decent, but some of our food came to us cold, and mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a box. I wouldn't... More

The Sawridge is the first hotel into town and it makes you feel out in the woods since all you see is the train, woods, and mountains. Beautiful lodge done in log but clean and bright. There is a sports bar downstairs, a restaurant in the front, and one in the main lobby. All three were staffed with quick and... More

Got a great rate on a room here and enjoyed it thoroughly. Very rustic decor with lots of wood and stone and fireplaces. Great view of mountains from front entry and from my room which had a small balcony. Food and service were really good at all three in-house restaurants that we ate at. Definitely staying here again.

Stayed at this hotel September 2014. Located opposite the railway line but I did not find this a problem, but then I love trains. Rooms were clean and roomy. The restruant/bar ther was very nice and reasonable prices. Staff friendly. Saw several animals from our balcony. Within walking distance to the town. Overall a very nice visit.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times now and it's always been great! The service is excellent and the rooms are very nice, especially since they were recently renovated. The hot tub is wonderful and having a spa on site is a nice bonus. The food at the restaurant is just amazing - I've tried the food for both... More

We recently went to Jasper for a conference and stayed at Sawridge. While the rooms are a bit dated, they are very clean. The lunch on day 1 was awful but the meals for the remainder of the stay were fantastic. Spa treatments were very good. Service was good as well. Jasper park is a wow!

We stayed in a lovely room which had a living room with two sofas separated from the bedroom by French doors. There was also a second half bath and a small kitchen with sink, fridge, and microwave. There was also a nice indoor swimming pool. No grounds or gardens outside, however. The buffet breakfast was very expensive, I would not... More

Thank you for your comments. It would appear you enjoyed a stay in one of our executive suites! The price of our Canadian buffet breakfast is $15.95 per person + taxes, which is consistent with such similar products as offered by numerous hotels through the Canadian Rockies. We hope you thoroughly enjoyed your visit to Jasper National Park, thank you... More

The hotel is OK, but the room was hot, stuffy and a little on the small side. We ate in one of the restaurants (another was booked for a private function) and the waitress was very friendly and the food was tasty. On the plus side it had a laundry, which was cheap ($1 for detergent from reception, $1 for... More
