This is a beautiful location, convenient to the Columbia Ice Fields and Jasper. While we were there, people were constantly being turned away because there were no vacancies. But, frankly, we were disappointed. First, there were the pipes... When the adjoining cabin flushed the toilet in the middle of the night, I sat up in bed startled by the sudden... more

Stayed here for two nights in the Rocky Mountain Double. The rooms were clean, pleasant and comfortable with a fridge included. We found the staff to be very helpful and pleasant and numerous people keeping the surrounding areas clean and neat. The only downfall is the fact that it is half an hour at least outside Jasper but if you... more

This place is a charming and rustic motel located centrally on the Jasper Banff parkway allowing for lots of daytime exploring. Staff are great and our "fireboy" the guy who comes and lights the fire for you (no charge for firewood - but leave the guy a tip)he was great as were other staff - including the fellow at the... more

There are good points about this place, but I'm afraid the overall impression is going to be disappointment. For the sky high price you're paying, it just doesn't cut it. The main positive point is the staff: from the front desk guy to the waiters and waitresses at breakfast, the young staff from various countries and backgrounds were friendly and... more

We stayed hear for 2 nights in July 850CAD for a 2 bedroom suite (which we were happy to pay when we booked until!!!!! it turned out to be 2 bedrooms with an ajoining door, our room had a mouse trap in and the ajoining room had mouse droppings on the table, the staff were the worst we had come... more

I had read the reviews and the ads on this resort before making my decision to stay there, which there was only one negative review so it wasn't much to base an opinion on, but we soon found out the ads that they had of this resort were nothing like the acutally resort. We wanted a getaway for the July... more

After reading the adverse report of small rooms in the Hideway rooms I was a little concerned. I need not have worried. From the outset the front line staff were most friendly. We had arrived early and had left our baggage at the reception. returning later to check in we found that our many bags had been taken straight to... more

My husband and I were so excited to go to this hotel and were extremely disappointed as soon as we got there. For one thing, the rooms are very small. In their on-line promotional material, there is a photo of a room with a fireplace. The person taking the picture must be squeezed up against the wall because that is... more

I would like to take this opportunity to respond to 'Free Road Noise' First, our rooms and suites range in size from 250 sq ft. to 600 sq ft— this is industry standard. The ‘Hideaway’ is cabin style and is meant to be cozy at 250 sq ft with a pillow top King size bed, duvet, wood burning fireplace and...

I found the accomodations clean and more than adequate. Other reviewers complain about the accomodations and resturant being over-priced. In season, -->EVERY!<-- accomodation in Banff and Jasper park is expensive. It is the price you pay for some of the most spectacular scenery on earth. I tend to visit on the "shoulder" seasons which are much less expensive. more
