We stayed here for 3 nights after getting the rocky mountaineer from Whistler. Booking in was simple and the chap was very helpful. You can have breakfast at the prime rib village opposite but we didn't bother. There are plenty of places in the town to get food. The room was great and idea for us. The bathroom was a... More

Worst hotel stay of my life!! We get here and the room was decent, bathroom was a little outdated but the rest of the room was ok I guess. It was like a sauna when we got here so we turned the air conditioning on and opened the windows while we went out so it'd be cool in here when... More

I cant really say anything bad about his place. It is right at the end of Jasper's main street (Connaught) so its a little walk back into where the restaurants and bars are. The staff were helpful, the facilites were good. The only thing I would say is that our room was tiny and very dark with only a couple... More

After leaving a sub-par hotel in Banff, we were concerned that our choice in Jasper might be similar because we'd set about the same budget for this one. We were very pleasantly surprised to arrive at this place after a long day's travel. Lovely surroundings; clean well fitted out rooms, if a little small; great facilities - pool, gym, hot... More

We spent some 4 weeks in Canada travelling and this was the worst place we stayed. The room was dark and dingy with 2 beds crammed into a room for 1 double. On both days we returned at 4pm and the room wasn't cleaned On the 1st occasion I got no apology from reception and felt almost as if I was... More

Late check In after many hours driving. Got a suite which has so many comforts of home that we wish we were staying more than one night! Front desk staff were beyond helpful and we very much appreciated their service!

The Tonquin is located at the quieter North end of the main road through Jasper, on Juniper Street. We had booked online and check in was very speedy and efficient. We had booked a Standard Queen room, with 2 Queen beds. Our room 225 was on the 2nd floor at the far end of the main building. Yes the motel... More

Staying at the Tonquin was convenient...close to all the lakes for hiking, as well as in close proximity to restaurants, and shopping. The reception staff were quite friendly, accommodating, and informative.

Hotels in Jasper are much more expensive than the more trendy Banff to the south, which I attribute simply to less supply of hotel rooms in the former. Though our late September rate was $180C, versus our price the night before in Banff at $115C, this is actually a good value for Jasper. If you wish to enjoy the Icefield... More

Having read other reviews on Trip Advisor we approached our pre-booked stay at Tonquin Inn with some trepidation, only to be met by welcoming efficient staff, who immediately offered help with bags. Given that this is motel style accommodation, it has some excellent facilities/features - top end toiletries; soft, large fluffy towels; large beds fridge, coffee maker AND kettle with... More
