Bear Hill Lodge is a comfortable motel in a good location for the many spectacular sights around Jasper. It is a little under a kilometre walk from the centre of the main shopping area and restaurants but don't be surprised to meet elk feeding on the grass verges as you stroll back after your evening visit. The motel was clean... More

I stayed in one of the cabins this fall. I found the setup to be really nice, I enjoyed the kitchenette and the two bedrooms. The rooms were a little on the small side, but were more cozy than cramped. The location was a bit out of the downtown, but as I was there to hike I had no problem... More

Firstly whilst I have scored this 3 I would say it is more 3.5, but not quite very good. We were a little apprehensive having read some of the reviews however after overcoming our initial reaction to the decor, which is very dark and seemingly not very welcoming, we have to say our stay definitely had more positives. The location... More

We stayed 2 nights last month. Service and check in and out were friendly and quick. The breakfast is a good and very fresh choice with fresh muffins and scones. Although only continental breakfast, really good and delicious! As we had chosen for a "bed and breakfast" room in the main building, the breakfast was included in the room rate.

We spent a recent weekend in Jasper, staying at the Bear Hill Lodge. We booked late and ended up with a very small cabin. It was okay, but not really anywhere to sit other than the beds, of which there was a single and a double. The mattress was very firm memory foam, definitely the hardest mattress I have ever... We visited in high summer so not a lot of options, this place did the trick. Basic room, no aircon but we managed to get some airflow leaving the windows open. Has spa but doesn't look very welcoming so avoided, laundry room which was helpful a week into our trip. Best thing was breakfast, Served in a cute dining room,... More

Nice little lodges, approx. 30 in all, own individual parking space next to lodge. Lodges were clean and tidy and a nice quiet area. Staff very helpful. Room turn-down and daily tidy not great. Didn't try the breakfast as better deals in town. Nice little whirlpool and sauna. Good little laundry room although limited to 2 washers and 2 tumble... More
