Myself and a group of friends were in Jasper for the Pride Festival this past weekend and decided to stay at Whistlers Inn because A) it was cheap B) great location. The hotel wasn't bad at all. The beds were a little bit uncomfortable but you get what you pay for. You can't beat the location. Its right next to... More

Hi everyone, Whistlers is a great property location wise. I would highly recommend it for this reason. Overall your stay can be good at this hotel. The rooms are clean and the cleaning staff are friendly. The views from the rooms and hot tubs are breathtaking. The difficult part of this review does indeed have to do with the also... More

We stayed here because it was one of the only hotels we could find availability at on short notice last summer. With the price we paid (which was rather high compared to some of the other hotels), we expected more for the price. The rooms were very average/lower tier in feel. The front desk clerks were fine but not great.... More

I recently went to Jasper for a friend's 30th Birthday - we decided to stay here and the hotel itself was fine. My biggest problem was the extremely unprofessional Night Clerk we had to deal with. He was rude and unfriendly and when we returned home from dinner and drinks we were barely through the doors and he threatened to... More

The hotel is located in the centre of Jasper near other shops and restaurants. Ski shuttle stops just outside the hotel for Marmot Basin.Rooms were cosy and warm. They are a decent size and very clean. Loads of locker space and the staff accommodated us in any way they could. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We all had... More

Let me just qualify that we selected this particular hotel for it's convenient proximity to the Rail Station and Downtown Jasper. We were arriving on Via Rail and just wanted to bag drag to the hotel as we only had 1 1/2 days in Jasper. We opted for the suite and were given the top front room with windows facing... More

We wanted the closest location to the railways and this indeed was it; walked across the road and we checked in for the Rocky Mountaineer. It was really convenient with everything in this intriguing little town within easy reach. We fell in love with Jasper. We asked for a quiet room and got one on the first floor facing the... More

I stayed here for work on a weekend this past November. The room was just basic but clean. Has a small pub downstairs which was ok for a quick drink. I think they have live music regulary. The rooftop hot tun was really nice except that there must have been a highschool hockey team in town cause there was lots... More

When we arrived we learned that this 64 room property has only 10 parking stalls for their guests, the front desk "supervisor" advised that there was plenty of street parking around the hotel. After driving around for 15 minutes I found a space 2 blocks away from the property. The room we were in was directly above the hotel bar,... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, the service staff were average. Great location, super easy to walk around the townsite. Parking is a bit squishy. They have some wicked rooftop outdoor hot tubs that you are allowed to drink in (no glass containers). Did not hear any excessive noise, except the damn fire alarm went off about 4 times in... More
