The best thing about this hotel is its location directly opposite Jasper railway station, and I guess it's popular with people like us taking the Rocky Mountaineer or other tourist trains. It's centrally located, and the Italian restaurant in the hotel is really rather good. Beyond that, it's got nothing to commend it. Rooms are grubby, comparatively small, and the... More

Thank you for taking the time to post your opinions. While we understand your comments about parking, we need to point out that we have made it very clear that parking is limited to a few spots on-site but that both street and public parking are abundant and free within a 1 block radius of the hotel. We also do... More

Nicely located within easy walking distance of stores and restaurants in Jasper. The outside and lobby are not very appealing. The lobby is dingy and there is a really seedy looking bar on the premises. However, our room was clean and comfortable and we were not bothered by any noise from the bar. The Italian restaurant, Cassios, in the same... More

Thank you for posting your opinions. Please note that the 2 hour street parking limit is clearly marked as such from 9am-5pm daily. Our staff reassures all guests that parking is free and valid from 3pm to 11am because of the 2 hour grace period at either end of the parking limits. We are sorry that you had the impression... Older hotel, but shows a lot of character. Nice employees at the front desk. Great location , literally downtown. Parking at the back, a little confusing where the entrance is...as walked by a pub that seemed a bit seedy, but after going for a drink it was a friendly little pub, that a lot of locals gather there. Value money... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night, having arrived on our excellent Via Rail trip from Prince Rupert, via Prince George. It is most conveniently placed, being directly opposite the railway station and also in the centre of the town. Our room was at the front of the hotel and gave us a good view of the trains arriving... More

We were in Jasper for 3 nights and we arrived after 8. Staff was very kind and made great recommendations for places to eat. Our room was quite large with a great view of the mountains. The hotel was also very generous with the bath/shower items they supply, even though I can't use any of the products it was nice... More

Do yourself a favor, and don't stay at the Whistler's Inn on a "holiday." After 12 hours on the road, arrived in Jasper to find that it was a 3-day holiday, something to do with the Queen, unbeknowngst to me. When I finally found Whistler's Inn, I could not find parking. I could not even find the front door! After... More

Thank you for taking the time to post your thoughts however there were a few things that need to be addressed. 1. The hotel has 3 main doors to access the lobby - 1 from the small parking lot (14 stalls and no stairs), 1 from Connaught drive across the street from the train station (unloading zone for luggage and... Excellent room smell was amazing and inviting not an old stale smell at all. Quaint Staff was amazing and location to downtown we could go see all the shops while walking and taking in the fresh air. the roof hot tubs were a sweet added bonus , Thoroughly enjoyed our trip

After checking reviews of hotels in Jasper, I chose this hotel because of its location opposite the train station, given I was arriving by train. Boy, did that end up being a good decision! The train trip from Edmonton was a disaster. We were due to arrive at 1pm but ended up arriving after 1am! While all the passengers not... More

we were lucky enough to have a suite next to the hot tubs. what a deal sitting in the hot tub glass of beverage looking at the mountains. couldn't get any better. Did not eat at the hotel although the Italian restaurant offers a 10% discount. Friendly staff.

I booked directly from the hotel's website & received a cheaper price than some of the discount hotel websites. Booking & check-in were easy & all details correct upon arrival. The location of this hotel is about as good as it gets if you're planning on spending some time in the heart of Jasper. It's right in the middle of... More
