I have traveled the world and this was such an over rated resort. My husband read the good reviews on Trip Advisor and didn't read the bad review, too bad because they are true! The first old cabin smelled so bad from mildew i could breath. The lady at the desk offered another small room which only had a double... More

We were extremely disappointed in our "supreme" room at the OML. My wife freaked out the first room we were offered because it smelled so badly from mildew. The room we finally stayed in was only slightly better. We actually had one quarter of a 60 year cabin with little or no soundproofing. Thank goodness the people staying in the... More

We booked very much last minute and got very lucky to get a chalet. We LOVED our stay. The staff did more than we could ask for. The restaurant is absolutely worth a romantic evening. So here's what you need to know: Internet is spotty if you use their wi-fi. The clouds come in and interfere with it but then... More

We were welcomed by a lovely lady on reception. Our cottage was lovely - with an large entrance hall for boots & coats. Great open plan space - with well equiped kitchen - except no kettle ! Bathroom basic but serviceable, and two comfy bedrooms. Possibly a little far out of Jasper to be ideal - but otherwise a lovely... More

Lovely accommodation close to Jasper. Sadly, the lodge is built really close to the highway and we could hear the trucks at night. The cabin we stayed in was cute, and the breakfast room was amazing. However, as we were on our honeymoon from the UK, I envisioned a remote place away from the sounds of the road. After travelling... More

How can you ruin an inn in a beautiful setting? Start by putting it so close to the main highway that you hear trucks roaring by. Have the rooms reek of mold and mildew, so bad that our clothes smelled for days afterwards after just one night there, and have the walls be so thin that you can hear the... More

As me and my boyfriend were a little lost on the road, I called the Overlander and the staff provided very helpful and precise directions. Although we got there a little bit late, the staff welcomed us with big smiles on their faces. Dinner and breakfast were two of the best meals we had throughout the 21 day trip around... More

We booked this hotel because we wanted to have a weekend away. I picked the Overlander because it was close to Jasper but still away from the long weekend bustle in the town itself. We stayed in the Miette room and thanks to previous reviews already knew our garden view room would stare at the parking lot. We picked the... More

For the price of 350+ per night for a 2bedroom cabin a lot more should be provided ! There is NO daily cleaning which might have been ok if they bothered to let us know upon check-in . Floor was very dirty , our child's feet were black after a couple hours . We asked for the floors to be... More

My family visited the Overlander in August for a short Jasper stay. Our cabin (#134) was clean and had everything we needed. It was better than expected. The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked. Nice tv and satelite as well as a nice deck and table. It is a bit of a drive to the town... More
