Absolutely amazing place if you want to get away from "it all". Sits right on the boarder of Jasper National Park so you get to experience the full views of park as well all the other beautiful sights and sounds that come with such an amazing part of the world. The hotel is beautiful, quiet and rustic but very high... More

We stayed in a Minette room for our one-night stay. It was very clean, fireplace kept it nicely warm and the bed was very comfortable. We arrived on a crisp fall day with no snow, woke up to a blanket of white stuff that made the place look like a Christmas card. We had a four course meal for two... More

We went overnight to the Overlander Mountain Lodge in October 2014 to celebrate our 3 year wedding anniversary. We booked the bridal suite which is located in the main lodge in the far corner of the building, which gives you windows on 2 walls facing the mountains - stunning views! We had a balcony, a gas fireplace, leather furniture, comfortable... More

We recently spent an enjoyable weekend at the Overlander. I had not been here in 20 years and a lot had changed. I was very impressed with the dining room which delivered excellent meals to us both nights. Much more than I expected. I would agree with one of the other reviewers that the breakfast is a rip off and... More

they dont tell you that while it is nestled in the Rockies it is also just 500 metres from the highway so forget about sitting on the terrace, taking in the view and watching the stars. Extremely expensive for what it is. Bit prententious actually. It is really an up market motel. The breakfast is far too expensive. Also it... More

We arrived and was greeted with warmth and knowledgeable staff which started the visit on the right foot. We were offered help to plan our visit and there was a wealth of local knowledge which we could make use of. The rooms are comfortable and what you expect with a great range of options and what a change, NO TV.... More

We regularly visit the Overlander for it's relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views. We stay in the main lodge. We were pleasantly surprised by the even better fine cuisine they have upgraded to recently. A little pricey, but definitely the finest cuisine and great for a treat for those who love tasty food!

I enjoyed my 3-night stay at the Overlander Mountain Lodge (the journey from Jasper to her provided us with the best wildlife photos!!) but the cabins were a little outdated with thin walls and basic furniture. Update the decor, people! The location for Jasper National Park was perfect and the restaurant was amazing (if quite overpriced for breakfast) but I... More

I have traveled the world and this was such an over rated resort. My husband read the good reviews on Trip Advisor and didn't read the bad review, too bad because they are true! The first old cabin smelled so bad from mildew i could breath. The lady at the desk offered another small room which only had a double... More

We were extremely disappointed in our "supreme" room at the OML. My wife freaked out the first room we were offered because it smelled so badly from mildew. The room we finally stayed in was only slightly better. We actually had one quarter of a 60 year cabin with little or no soundproofing. Thank goodness the people staying in the... More
