The bungalows are great, but the canoe rental on the lake was the highlight. Perfect 360 degree reflections. Clear water, seeing the bottom of the lake. The northern lights showed up at night too... Beautiful! The history behind the whole compound was interesting. Having a kitchen was nice. It was an all around great place to stay. Helpful and friendly... More

I'm going to be at odds to many who write reviews for PLB. It is a very peaceful spot enjoyed by families and groups. It is romantic for couples too if you get the right room. We stayed in Douglas Fir 3. Room is great, separate bedroom, you can see the lake but there were some things that didn't like... More

On a family trip, we spent 3 nights at Patricia lake, in 2 nice, clean and comfortable rooms. The lake is so nice and you can rent canoes at reception desk, hot tub with great view Unfortunately, neighbors were very noisy all night long for one night be careful, no restaurant or shop at a walkable distance, you need to... My family stayed at PLB in a cabin in the Grove - Pine 1. The cabin was immaculate. There was a separate bedroom with a queen size bed as well as a pull out bed in the living room couch. There was a stove, fridge, convection microwave, dishwasher and everything else you would need in a kitchen. The view from... More

I was a bit nervous about how our stay would turn out as reservation service could do with some tweaks - I found the website hard to navigate in terms of knowing what name/type/price was allocated to which type of accommodation, and also hard to see which pictures related to what. Also when I emailed to enquire re availability they... More

The pictures online are accurate. No way to set up a camera in the corner of the room with a wide angle lens to try to make this place look bigger than it is. No surprise there. The room is tiny. Think if your youngest son wanted to turn that small space in the basement into his own little domain.... More

We stayed in an older cabin that was connected on both sides to other cabins, but it still felt quite private. I'm really glad we chose Patricia Lake Bungalows and not someplace in town. We frequently saw elk on the short drive to the Bungalows and often right outside our door! We even saw a Grizzly swimming and coming out... More

We stayed at Patricia Lake Bungalows for 3 nights & had a lovely relaxing time. We used the guest BBQ area near the hot tub sharing with other guests in a great international spirit of cooperation. Our cabin was lakeside & as others have said its rustic & traditional in style. Not much storage space. It was very hot while... More

We stayed at Patricia Lake Bungalows for just under a week and loved every moment. A fantastic site nestled between the forest and the mountains, this was as close to our Rockies dream as I can imagine. Boating on the lake, walking through the forest... all lovely, and just to create that holiday moment to remember we saw a family... More

So happy we stayed at this beautiful place. First off, the location is amazing, with the lake and mountain view just steps from the cabins. Patricia Lake is gorgeous. We spent a morning watching the sun rise behind the mountains (it happens early in July!) and felt very safe. We stayed in a Type 2 cottage, with comfy beds and... More
