Peaceful location about 10 mins walking distance away from centre of Town where there are a good choice of restaurants, the restaurant on site serves good quality food though all be it small choice Menu. Staff very efficient and attentive. swimming pool looked inviting, unfortunately didn't use it.

Hotel is basic but clean. Location is not bad a short walk to the town. Has a nice pool and hot tub area that is well maintained. Overall quite pricey for what you get but that's high season in Jasper

We booked a standard room with 2 beds as I was travelling with my father and son. There was enough room for the 3 of us and we slept great. The air conditioning was great as we were luck and it was hot and sunny. There was also a small fridge in the room which is very convenient when travelling... More

We stayed here for two nights prior to boarding the Rocky Mountaineer. This was a comfortable 3 star hotel, and we had a spacious room. The level of comfort and service and the standard of food were good, and we slept well.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at Chateau Jasper on our trip through the Rockies It is a nice clean hotel within walking distance of the shops. The hotel was a bit tired but rooms were spacious and comfortable and well equipped although the electrical sockets were in strange places - we had to manoeuvre the table to... More

The hotel is the usual two story place like all in Banff and Jasper. So do not expect a chateau like Quebec City... The hotel is operated by the se hotel group as pyramid lake and it shows. Someone tries to so an effort to remove the stuffed feelings from the places. Very nice. Room was renovated and clean and... More

We stayed for a couple of days in early June. The hotel is a little out of the town centre, about a 10 minute walk, which is good if you like the peace and quiet. Pleasant enough room overlooking the car park, but we weren't staying there for the views. Perhaps a bit of a makeover to brighten up the... More

Stayed one night in the Chateau Jasper on a stopover. The hotel is clean, room quite spacious could do with a makeover but with such a short stay its comfortable. Most impressive was the reception special thanks to Kumal who helped us with a travel problem. As other reviewers have mentioned it is a 10 minute walk to the town... More

This was an outdated but quite charming hotel quite a way out of town. Very quiet and relaxing – until anyone spoke in the corridor! The bed was good but the bath was a bit odd. Pool and spa not tested out. The buffet breakfast was awful. A great positive was the free shuttle to the train station. I can’t... More

Stayed here 3 nights and found the staff helpful at reception when I enquired about local services, bike hire, attractions etc. The hotel is a 10 min walk from downtown which I personally like as it means peaceful nights. The rooms are dated in decor but ours was spotlessly clean. Our room was 3 doors from the maids/ staff room... More
