On arrival we were told the lift was out of order, we note from other reviews this has been ongoing. Stayed in 5 other hotels in Canada during our 14 day stay, but found this was the hotel that disappointed. Check in staff not friendly, children found several items from previous guests under the bed when checking for an item... More

This is a nicely refurbished hotel, close to downtown, but what really makes this hotel special is the outstanding customer service. For me, they are 15 out of 10. I will always stay here whenever we are in town. Pool, exercise area and sauna. Good restaurant on site. For CAF personnel, the Colonel (Retired) says you can't do better for... More

On arrival we were told that our rooms were to be upgrade - and they were to suites!! The rooms were very spacious and more than met our needs. 0nly downside was it was for only one night. Reception staff not as welcoming as at previous hotel in Banff.

We arrived mid afternoon after our train journey and give some of the reviews I had read did not expect to find what we did. We had a very large room on the ground floor with a bed as big as half a football pitch. A nice low step bath that was a boon. We thought the restaurant was very... More

Our 3 night stay here in August was rather disappointing, especially after the lovely hotels we'd experienced in Vancouver, Victoria and Banff. The lift was out of order and everything seemed a bit 'tired' and dated. It didn't help that we were obviously staying in peak season and our room was right opposite the lift and our children's room was... More

This hotel is located a little out of town (10 to 15 minute walk), but near several other hotels and restaurants. http://www.mpljasper.com/hotels/chateau_jasper/ We were on a bus tour, and only there for 1 night, so we did not utilize many of the facilities (pool, etc.) The scenery is breathtaking there in Jasper National Park. Be sure to bring your camera/ipad,... More

I got to the hotel after a long day's travelling from Banff. I found that I had been given a free upgrade to a suite, which was huge and very pleasant. Supper in the restaurant was not up to the same standard and a bit of a downer. I ordered a burger, which sounded good on the menu, but came... More

We stayed here for three nights at the start of August. There was plenty of parking and check in was smooth. We had been upgraded to suite which was very spacious. The room was very clean and smelt clean and fresh. The air con was a little noisy though and we could hear the lift. We ate in the restaurant... More

Bad start as on arrival after 5 hours driving and feelin very tired, we were told that the hotel had let our room to someone else as they had overbooked (even though we'd booked in February!) and we were relocated down the road to a room in a half built hotel with absolutely no facilities. Having spent the night there,... More
