Visited at a quiet time of the year. Hotel staff was very friendly and our room was spacious with 2 queen beds. Good location to walk to the shopping area. Hotel is a little dated but rooms were clean and well appointed. Restaurant service was very good and food was excellent. Booked through Kayak and got a great deal. more

Lovely friendly, homely hotel, situated within easy walking of main thoroughfare. Room clean and spacious - bathroom quite small. Nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. Friendly staff and complimentary Internet connection. more

The room was overpriced, window leaked the place was old and nasty. went there for my honeymoon and was extremely dissapointed. Staff didnt seem to care, would not give a discount, move rooms or apologize....worse....hotel....ever......went to Banff the next night and it was awsome and cheaper, Avoid this Hotel, stay in tent instead, nicer! more

This hotel has come under new management recently- and it shows. The lobby and restaurant are low-key but brand new. The elevator is ancient and loud. The check in process was quick and easy. They had underground parking but we didn't use it, we parked in the parking lot so we could see our car. About a 2 minute drive... more

Sometimes I wonder what people want. We stayed at the Chateau Jasper for 2 days recently as a part of an 11 week trip away from Australia. Yes, some of the decor is dated, but the setting is wonderful, the staff could not be friendlier or more helpful and the room was large enough for us and 2 x 23KG... more

Obviously many comments from a prior ownership. Hotel is clean and seems well run. I liked the fridge and tea kettle in the room. Free internet a bonus after a paying for it at other hotels (get with it people). Felt safe and relaxed. Thank you for a great stay. more
