I read reviews on TripAdvisor and decided Maligne Lodge had decent reviews and prices. Although this hotel is on the far West end of the Jasper "strip", it is only a ~10 minute walk to the heart of downtown, which was nice. Even though the hotel seemed a bit old from the outside, I was pleasantly surprised by how well maintained and renovated our room was. The beds were comfortable and we never heard the train across the street. We'll be back!

This is a nice place to stay, clean and comfortable. Price is in keeping with area hotels. Room was small but comfortable. Swimming pool is good for kids and outdoor hot tub was just wonderful. Easy access to town, 2 minute drive or 5 minute walk.
