If you are looking for a no frills hotel with a very good location this is it. Very close walking distance to downtown Jasper and close to Highway 93 for a quick exit out of town. Hotel has not been updated in years and and could really use a bit of a facelift. Looks somewhat tired and dated, but it... More

The hotel looks from the outside like one of these oldfashioned motels from the early days. But in real it is completely modernised with comfortable rooms which are not too large. Very good beds and pillows. The room contains a refregirator, tv set, hair dryer and coffee machine. Good shower facility in a rather small bathroom. An indoor swimming pool... More

A Motel! What a shock and what a disappointment when we arrived from the Emerald Lake Lodge at Yoho National Park. OK, they have an indoor pool - but it must be from the 70ies. The room is spacious and was cooled down to 18 degree Celsius - 2 degree below the outside temparature. It's the first time we are... More

The motel is setup like a lodge with multiple log cabins and an authentic fire place in the room. Small and cozy with a kitchenette setup with tea/coffee facility and a microwave. Ideal for families since rooms are setup like a one room house (studio apartment style). The best part of the lodge was the views of the river below.

To me, it is misleading to call this place a lodge. It is a motel with outside doors. As such, it is ridiculously overpriced, but I guess during high season they can get what they get. For a motel, the rooms weren't bad but it should be about $100 cheaper than it was. Explore all other options before booking a... More

Way overpriced and some what misled by a cheaper booking service that commits one to at least one night of our stay. Jasper and the mountains are a Canadian Treasury and I think this company which owns other properties here had some of the only vacancies which I translate to bad value pricing for the public. I booked in the... More

Our room was refurbished. Although somewhat dark, room was good. Beds were too soft. Bathroom was old and needs refurbish. Portable ac is extremely loud and impossible to sleep with. Isolation is minimal, and early in the morning the noise of starting motors, ... wakes you up at 7. Expensive for what you get.

Maligne Lodge was perfectly suited for our road trip to Jasper. The room was big enough for the 4 of us, had a mini fridge and was clean. We didn't spend much time at the lodge so it worked! The service was good from all the staff from front desk to maintenance when our A/C seemed to fritz. The pool... More

We stayed here 2 nites after a disappointing stay at the Mt. Robson Inn (next door). M, at reception, promised and delivered room 108 on the first fl. facing Connaught St. so we could look at the landscape. The sheets are good (one of my benchmarks), room is a fine 3 star type space, and hot tub good. No breakfast... More

I stayed here with my young daughter. We are okay with basic accommodation--and it was very basic. The bed was comfortable and clean. The rest of the room was pretty run down. I picked this place because it had a pool, but the pool was not very clean and the water was FREEZING(like swimming in a lake--that cold)...so much so,... More
