This was terrific accommodation in Jasper. It's about 5 minutes out of town (so a car is preferable), but well worth it to stay out there. The alpine cabins are very pretty from the outside - (we shared a chalet with 1 of our grown-up kids and his fiance) - 2 story, glowing honey-coloured log construction, some outside furniture, in... Very nice park located at a 5-minute drive from the centre. Our cabin was well furnished and clean with a small kitchen department and a fireplace that we not used. The heating worked very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Though I found the price a bit high for what was offered.

Two of the best decisions we made in planning our Canadian Rockies trip were to make the trip up to the more remote town of Jasper and to stay at Alpine Village. Jasper is much more relaxed and pleasant than the tourist trap of Banff. There are plenty of good restaurants and a good mix of shops in the town.... More

This is where we will always stay when coming to Jasper. We had a Deluxe King room. They are duplexes LOTS of space, windows(and porch) overlooking the woods. Nice fireplace, flat screen TV. Great BIG bathroom with heated floors and lots of counter space. This is a CABIN so obviously it is not in town(though only a couple of miles)... More

Great place to stay...three of us in two bed cabin. Staff lovely, views wonderful, easy to find and nice and warm at night when it got pretty cold (for Aussies). Lovely spot across the road to sit and watch the river.

Myself and hubby stayed at the Alpine Village at the end of August and had the smallest sleeping cabin for 5 nights (it was Cabin D). The cabin itself turned out to be very comfortable and clean, with big bed, desk, two armchairs, but no fireplace (there's heating in the cabin though) and a limited kitchen area (microwave, coffee maker... We spent 3 nights in one of the deluxe cabins and we are glad we did. The lodge is a few minutes outside of town and across the road from the Athabasca River. Our cabin was very comfortable. It had a kitchen, living room and bedroom and a large porch looking out towards the river. The staff was very friendly... More

We spent 3 glorious days at the Alpine Village which is in a glorious location on the Athabasca river with great views of snow capped mountains from our cabin. The cabin accomodation was very good and the hot tub was excellent after a long day trekking in the national park. This must have the best location in Jasper and it... More

We were a little concerned about a recent review posted by a fellow traveler on cabin 26 at the Alpine Village in Jasper. It was an articulate well written piece written by an obviously unhappy traveller. Although one of the best written reviews I have read in recent years, thankfully it was largely a exageration penned by a frustrated guest.... More

We found Alpine Village a few days ago on trip advisor and based on the reviews and photos decided to book last night. We couldnt get the cabin we wanted as they were all booked but we got a small cabin with no fireplace. We were really pleased to have gotten the cabin. The location is perfect and the cabins... More
