Staff in restuarant and reception really helpful and friendly. Little bit away from centre of town, but pleasant flat walk. Recommend the White water rafting on the Athabasca River with Rocky Mountain River Guides (next door to Subway).

We stayed at the Lobstick this weekend with our young children. This was our second time and it was better this time than last. We had a huge, nicely renovated room with two king beds. Our room also had a mini fridge and a table that had a kettle and coffee pot. It was set up nicely with all of... More

We stayed here for 2 weeks in December 2008 until January 2009. Our room was spacious with a modern bathroom which was very new and clean. We had a balcony and a good view of the mountains on the first floor. The reception area was welcoming with a log burning fire and lounge seats. We arrived late at night but... More

We travel to Jasper every 2-3 months for pleasure from Calgary as it is far less "touristy" and a lot more fun then Banff (for us). When we decided to tour the different hotel facilites for our reception site, it was an easy decision. Jordan Tucker (Sales & Catering Manager) was amazing in helping us out and we LOVE the... More

We stayed 3 days at the Lobstick and I was a unsure of what we would find after reading the reviews. We had a Deluxe room, two king size beds with plenty of extra room. The room was nothing fancy but very clean and quiet. If I had a complaint it would be how hot the room was when we... More

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful holiday in beautiful Canada in September 2008. We stayed in eight different hotels, some were part of the same chain and were very good. One was a small motel and although a budget motel it was first rate, and one was absolutely outstanding. However, the Lobstick lodge was one of the worst hotels... More

My family stayed here for one night and will never return. This hotel was way too expensive for what you got. Our room was musty and smelled like old cigarette smoke. This caused my daughter to have a severe asthma attack during the night. If you have asthma, stay away. The thermostat did not work so we were sweating all... More

It appears from the date that the guest stayed on or near New Year’s Eve. Unfortunately, during this time, other guests will become boisterous. We do have full time security working at the property that try and deal with incidents. I regret during this time that the guest here was disturbed by others staying at the hotel. For the problems... We stayed at the Lobstick as an overnight stop over and found a room rate of $69. The room was so hot and we couldn't make the thermostat work, so we had to sleep with the window open in November. Creaky floors and we could hear the person above us walking around. The room was in desperate need of a... More
