We stayed here 5 adults for skiing for two days. Rooms were simple, two king beds, but bathroom really small. They have 4 hot tubs - 3 outside and 1 inside. Pool. But the best is the beakfast...there's plenty. It's off the main core downtown, about a 15min walk. I would recommend not to get a room next to parking... More

This is my second visit to the Lobstick in the past year. There are better places to stay in this beautiful city. I stayed here on the family day weekend in February. I was here on business. The room was humid, overheated, and smelled funny. I was facing the 'courtyard'. As soon as I entered the room I opened the... More

We stayed in the kitchenette room. There were six adults, we had two double beds in a separate room, a kitchen area with all amenities, fridge, stove, microwave and utensils for six. A large wood table, pullout couch and two flat screen TVs. The room was clean and functional. We had enough room to enjoy our stay and cook a... More

When spent three nights at the Lobstick Lodge while skiing Marmot Basin. We usually stay at the Marmot Lodge, another one of Mountain Park’s hotels, but due to availability tried the Lobstick. Many have indicated that the Lobstick is old. Some of the advantages of being an old hotel is the rooms are bigger than most of the newer hotels... More

Not a good start when faced with a load of steps to get up to the lobby on arrival. No ramp to pull your cases up. Very off hand reception who volunteered little info. Certainly should have told us about ski bus etc. Room adequate but broken power sockets and wallpaper peeling off under the window. Also had ice on... More

I agree with others that it I sin need if some tlc. Rooms do have very good amenities and there is an outside hot tub which again is very good but needs some attention. The company own a few other properties and are renovating another hotel so perhaps this one is next. Certainly, I should note that the room was... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights before continuing our journey. On arrival we were met by a very stroppy hotel receptionist, not the norm and our first and last in Canada. The hotel is quite old, but clean and tidy rooms are large and well equipped if a little dated. The food in the restaurant is cheaper than some... More

Our first impressions from the outside was of a very run down and much unloved hotel. Inside the décor was in need of some TLC and we found hundreds of suitcase scuff marks along the corridor to our room. The floor boards were really noisy throughout the hotel and we ended up playing a game of who could walk to... More

We found our stay at the lobstick lodge to be quite a pleasant place to stay and the staff were very accommodating...the rooms are large and clean and modern....the food was good, we had Christmas buffet as well as breakfast buffet, prices are good for what you get....the facilities were maintained properly....the pool was a cold pool which was a... The hotel was clean and the rooms had all the modern conveniences (refrigerator, coffee pot, flat screen tv etc). Staff was pleasant enough. My only complaints was the company Christmas party (was informed that it was Lobstick management) that was held on our floor. The party goers couldn't seem to contain themselves to the banquet room, but rather drizzled out... More
