Yes it is out-of- the-way. Yes it is dark and dingy. They need new sofabeds. washroom is very small- no counterspace. A necessity when travelling with 3 teen girls. Had to use the kitchenette counter. Oh but the kitchenette is well stocked for cooking in. No complimentary breakfast but the adjoining restaurant offers hot buffet at 14.99 per person or... more

The Lodge is located in a back street on the outskirts of Jasper. This is not bad. OK. Jasper seemed to be almost fully booked; so they charged me the double rate for a simple room with two twin beds. Even though I only needed one. The room was located in a labyrinth of loud and dark corridors with inner... more

Pleasant "base" for traveling the Rockies, a bit of a trek from the centre of Jasper though. more

This is hotel is desperate need of some TLC! It is old, dirty, and DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING!! I couldn't believe it! I didn't even think to check before booking, I assumed all hotels in Jasper would have A/C. The location was good, but all hotels in Jasper are in a good location, the town is not that big... more

This "hotel" looks worse than an army barrack. Filthy, run down and expensive. I did not dare take my shoes off in the room. We stayed in many hotels during our trip, Lobstick Lodge is by far the worst. more

We travelled up to Jasper and booked into the Lobstick late in the day and 'off the street', after looking at several hotels and deciding it was the best of a bad bunch. Much of the hotel accommodation in Jasper is over priced and basic. Maybe we were just unlucky, but we looked at half a dozen hotels and asked... more

My husband and I stayed at this location recently. I was awakened on the first morning with the need to scratch my arm and back. It was odd, but I thought maybe a mosquito had bitten me (usually you can hear those little guys though). As I looked over my body I noticed around 7 other spots I had been... more

I have to start with saying that I very much regret that this guest did not have a good stay with us. I also wish that they had chosen a different venue to discuss the issues outlined; even better to have raised the concerns directly with Hotel Management so that they could have been directly addressed on site at the...

This is probably my fifth stay at the Lobstick Lodge Jasper and third in a year. The staff is always welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfortable (did I mention all rooms are pet friendly?). The pool area has been renovated and is cleaner and more organized than it ever was. The outdoor hot tubs are comfortable and the area... more

It's a very decent hotel with all the necessary facilities you usually need. There isn't city-style high building hotel here in Jesper. Mostly you will see 3 floors only and among the twenty something of such hotels in this small town, I would say Lobstick Lodge is a pretty good place to stay. You don't need to wonder around the... more
