My husband and I stayed at this location recently. I was awakened on the first morning with the need to scratch my arm and back. It was odd, but I thought maybe a mosquito had bitten me (usually you can hear those little guys though). As I looked over my body I noticed around 7 other spots I had been... more

I have to start with saying that I very much regret that this guest did not have a good stay with us. I also wish that they had chosen a different venue to discuss the issues outlined; even better to have raised the concerns directly with Hotel Management so that they could have been directly addressed on site at the...

This is probably my fifth stay at the Lobstick Lodge Jasper and third in a year. The staff is always welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfortable (did I mention all rooms are pet friendly?). The pool area has been renovated and is cleaner and more organized than it ever was. The outdoor hot tubs are comfortable and the area... more

It's a very decent hotel with all the necessary facilities you usually need. There isn't city-style high building hotel here in Jesper. Mostly you will see 3 floors only and among the twenty something of such hotels in this small town, I would say Lobstick Lodge is a pretty good place to stay. You don't need to wonder around the... more

Jul 7, 2009 | Trip type: Family New

We stayed here for two nights in late June. We are four adults from same family, so we requested quiet room with two king size beds when booked on expedia website. Upon checking in, we happily noticed our room is located very conviniently on main floor facing a quiet corner. They do have a basement level as well, so make... more

We stayed two nights in this hotel and enjoyed it. Our kids (8 and 10yrs old) very much enjoyed the pool and the hot-tubs (and so did we!). They actually have 4 hottubs - 3 of which are outside. Of the 4, only 2 of the outdoor ones were working. As a family with young kids, we attach a lot... more

The hotel was all right, It was clean and the personnel at the desk were nice, but there were a number of steps to get in the front door, and no ramp, which made carryying a heavy suitcase something of a problem. There was no one to help when we arrived or when we left. more

You get what you pay for. First time user of this hotel - lots of times in Jasper. Great service; absolutely great room. Breakfast really good. Not sure what others who stayed here expected; but a solid hotel at a good price. I will be using again. more

Our group of 31 were all checked in within 5 minutes, reception staff were very efficient. Our rooms were large and airy with two king size beds. The bathroom was very clean and had a powerful shower and all the usual toiletry stuff. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant both nights we were there and the waiter who served... more

I was a little aprehensive as we were on a group holiday and you can sometimes get the poor end of the deal as far as hotels are concerned, although the occasional touring holiday can be good fun - don't knock it until you've tried it! However, the Lobstick was a little gem. Big light room, everything you could need... more

I stayed at the Lobstick Lodge on a school skiing trip in February and found the hotel to be very dull indeed. It lacked character and imagination and had that hotel decor we've all seen before - I would recommend going somewhere a bit more exciting! Overall, I have no problems with cleanliness or administration: everything ran smoothly and we... more
