Just returned from a stay in the Canadian Rockies. Our time at the Fairmont Jasper Lodge was a highlight. The lodge is located just outside of town, which is great because it allows for a more private, serene and unspoiled atmosphere. The service was top notch, the views were beautiful and the amenities terrific. My only complaints were the voracious... More

This was our second stop on our trip from Jasper to Banff National Parks. We had just completed our 3 day 27 mile backpacking excursion and really just wanted to kick back and relax for a bit. The Jasper Park Lodge is the place to be. We stayed in a suite right on the lake. The view was excellent. The... More

Stayed three nights at Jasper Lodge located a couple of miles outside of Jasper. The property consists primarily of log cabins with various levels of rooms. Our cabin was furnished adequately and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had "older" fixtures but was adequate. Occasionally the plumbing was noisy. Remember you are at a rural lodge not in a... More

Just back from another trip to JPL. We did the golf for free package and it was great. We ungraded to a suite on the lake and it was perfect. They checked us in but the room was not quite ready so we said we would just go for lunch and then come back. We ate at EMerald's and the... More

My husband and I recently had a wonderful 2 week holiday in the Rockies, and we paid extra to stay in Fairmont Hotels. Unfortunately the Jasper Park Lodge did not live up to our expectations and we were disappointed. We loved the location and the grounds and the communal rooms were good, but the room was very basic and certainly... More

Went for a quick get awY from Calgary with my In-Laws who visited from Quebec. They loved the area and enjoyed the atmosphere at the hotel. I live the attention to detail I get at the Fairmont. As a presidents club members wife I find when we go to get away it is a luxurious treat to stay at the... More

You can get better value for money staying ANYWHERE else. A B&B would be a far better way to spend your money. At least you'd get something included for the ridiculous price you pay. Every single motel and backpackers we've stayed at includes free wifi, the most expensive hotel we stay at charges $15 for 24hrs. I'm surprised they don't... More

If you love nature you will love this place. We stayed in a cabin with a view of the lake. The rooms are not as luxurious as some others but they were very comfortable and clean. We also had a little enclosed porch looking over the lake. The lodge had great restaurants. I really have to comment on the wonderful... More

We had 3 nights here in July and enjoyed it very much. The hotel is pricey but offers plenty of amenities for families. The golf course is fantastic and right at hand. We were lucky to have a room in the main building with a beautiful deck which had chairs and a able so we could sit and watch the... More

This was back in late Apirl 2011 and was my last stop in the Canadian Rockies. Before the JPL i was in Banff Springs and Chateau Lake Louise. I was upgrade in all three properties. I'm guess that's due to my preimer membership in prez club and the time of the year. About the hotel, this is my 2nd time... More
