Have booked small groups into the Astoria on two occasions in the past two years and were satisfied with the service, cleanliness and amenities offered. Location is central, staff are friendly and rooms, while pretty small, are nice and clean and provide everything you need. We have always found them to be very flexible with our booking arrangements and willing... more

We called the Astoria directly and made a 2 night reservation the day before.... we arrived late at night and were able to negotiate a cheaper rate with the desk clerk. we decided on the morning of our second night to stay a third night. upon checkout at the end of our... more

I stayed at this hotel from 7th - 14th January, and it was absoulutely brilliant, the staff are so friendly, they cant do enough for you, the rooms are comfy, with a telly to watch while you are getting ready for a session in the De'd dog bar downstairs! The food in there is really good, and so is the... more

This was my first ever trip to Canada, it has been a dream of mine to go and i finally got there with my daughter for 14 amazing days. We aren't skiers and only went for the scenery. Firstly, if you are going to Jasper, try and arrange that your connection from Calgary to Jasper is during daylight hours. This... more

This was my 2nd stay at The Astoria and even better than the 1st thanks to the new restaurant called Poppa George's. It opens for breakfast with a menu of favourites and chef's specials. The staff is both fast and friendly. There is a coffee counter for those who prefer a latte or herbal tea to go. The kitchen's baking... more

We stayed for two weeks, and i cannot think of a single complaint to make. When stayin at the Astoria you and your travelling companions are each given lamenated cards with... more

My mate and I spent a week at the Astoria in January on a ski trip. We booked through Inghams and for the price we paid, it was a brilliant deal. The hotel is in a conveniant location with the ski shuttle stopping right outside. The rooms are small, but cosy and the beds were comfortable. They were were cleaned... more

"Full of character & charm" or "run down & tired,"each visitor must make thier own minds up. I know which I think. Booked a family room for 4 not realising it was for 4 circus dwarfs!!saying it was small is understatement.sink outside toilet in room due to toilet being a cupboard.Brochure said rooms had been revamped (must have missed one... more

Since when do we worry about what a hotel room looks like!! Aren't you there to see the town and the hotel is just to sleep in? I found it comfortable for the price. They treated me well. I don't know what the problem is? Stop being such yuppies and start enjoying the good things in life. Jasper is a... more
