I think the hotel product is good, which matters most. Huge room (approx. 8x5 m), microwave and fridge - which I think is a great bonus as you don't always have to eat out (grocery store very close to the hotel). Comfy bed, smallish bathroom. Pool and hot tub looked ok, didn't have a chance to go there. Couldn't hear... More

We love Jasper but it can sometimes be hard to find a room on busy weekends. On top of that, the existing hotels are stuck in the 60's/70's. This hotel has been redone and it is great! so nice to walk into a hotel with the new fresh smells of paint and wood lingering (not at all overpowering). Lobby/Check in:... More

I've just arrived and am already impressed with the service and how clean and new everything is. The front desk lady was very nice and the check in was super quick (especially of you already had a reservation.) It's been recently renovated and it feels like a brand new hotel. Great decor! I will definitely stay here again.

Completely redone after a fire and under a new name, the Crimson has been done right. We've stayed several times now and it was well thought out. The basics which include a little bar area with a microwave, fridge, Keurig and kettle make it very easy to relax after the ski hill. Beds are very comfortable and the décor is... More

We stayed here for our family snowboarding trip this year. This place is completely redone. Our room was on the second floor. During our stay we never had one complaint. Our room was large and clean. The restaurant was great. Staff were super pleasant. Bathrooms clean. We will be staying here any time we come to Jasper!!

We stayed at the Crimson during the Jasper In January festival and was fortunate enough to get a room. This hotel has been totally redone inside and out. I like that they have added microwaves and Keurig coffee machines in the room. The beds were very comfortable and the décor just makes you think Canada. From the artwork on the... More

While this is actually a hotel which was recently renovated, the hotel must have been totally gutted down and redone as it looks like a brand new property. The rooms are warm and welcoming and they have all the amenities expected from a first class international hotel. Access to the township of Jasper is easy, a comfortable walk from the... More

3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2015

My husband, and our parents decided to try this hotel for our stay in Jasper from December 30th to Jan 1st. We thought it would be nice to try it as it was completely redone, and reopened as The Crimson. I have to say, it was okay, but definitely not worth the price we paid. First, I booked 3 rooms... Came with two children under 10 and my daughter. The kids meals were filling with choice of drink and dessert for 7 dollars! Limited choice of menu for adults but food was satisfying and reasonably priced. Our room had two queen beds that were more comfortable than mine at home. Only complaint was the pool was cold and the hot... More

Our room had no hot water in the shower and the bathroom sink leaked. Apparently we are not the only ones without hot water. The room was clean but not being able to shower was a downer. The hotel restaurant was very slow from the kitchen and was not the best. "Freshly grated cheddar" was replaced with cheese slices
