Wabasso is a lovely campground with a beautiful river running alongside it. Ask for a river pitch if you can and you can walk down to the aquamarine fast running river and sit there with your coffee in the morning.

. A clean campground, many of the staff stating high bear activity. Great views of the river when you choose to tent. Washrooms are cleaner on the west side of the campground in comparison to the east. There are no showers on the campground. On the east: Two spouts in the sink for hot and cold water. Making it hard... More

We were pleased with our choice of campground in Jasper even though we knew it was 15 minutes drive from town. The pitches are well spaced out and it's a quiet, forest setting with very few RV generators - an important consideration for campers. The only downside was the lack of showers and rather primitive washroom but I gather this... More

Stayed here August 2015 and agree with most of the other reviewers. It's a nice campground that lacks somewhat on the amenities side (no showers or camp store), but is otherwise very nice. I had a site along the river and it was easily the most beautiful campsite I have ever stayed on. The view of the river with the... More

Really enjoyed this campsite. Lovely treed sites. Great campground beside the river. Campfire permit $8 well worth the money, unlimited firewood. No showers but washrooms were clean. Really relaxing campsite. Bears were seen on th road but we didn't see them.

We do a lot of camping, and this campground is amongst the most beautiful we have found. Our campsite was perched on the edge of the river, so the river lulled us to sleep at night. Highly recommend #78 - close to firewood, bathrooms, group house, and river. Seen a lot of beautiful wildlife, and the scenery in the Jasper... More

This is the second time I have camped at Wabasso. The sites are well treed and feel private. It is a smaller site then others in Jasper. No showers but the bathrooms have hot running water and are very clean. We booked ahead online but would have loved a spot closer to the river.

Friendly helpful staff, washrooms with hot water. Plots we saw in A section all had plenty of trees and bushes. Fire pits and fire wood available $8 for a permit. Lots of temp camping and various rvs good mix of people. Ranger patrolled several times no issues. Quiet time at 11pm. Slight noise hum from highway. Overall good campsite would... More

Camped in Wabasso with my two kids (10 and 7) over a weekend in July. We tented in Wabasso in the "A" loop which is tent only and had a great expierence. The firewood permit is well worth it. The sites are well tree'd and spaced out. When booking ask for a closest to the river spot, the views of... More

Spacious campground with clean facilities. Great location by the river. Very friendly and helpful park staff. Spent one night as we passed through towards Calgary. Awesome point of departure for the glacier highway. Would definitely return - book in advance if you can.
