This is a lovely campground - very quiet, large pitches, good shower facilities, good location. You feel like you are truely camping in the wilderness, although you are only 15 minute drive from Jasper. Every evening we saw a group of Elk around the Campground. You are also close to plenty of lovely walks (Valley of the Five Lakes) and... More

This was a very quiet campground: far from the highway noise, adjacent to the river, and along a long lonely road. Perfect for us. Much quieter than the bigger campsites closer to town. Only 15 minutes to Jasper townsite. Very BIG sites.

We really enjoyed our stay here, even though we didn't have the very best spot (which I think would probably be A#85). (A#82 was a good spot, along river but had to climb a little hillock to get unobstructed view of the river and mountains to the east, which we did for reading in the evening.) Bathrooms in our loop... More

One of the best campsites we went to in Jasper/Banff area. Very quiet, nice places with a lot of privacy. Good electricity hookups, tables and firepits (enough wood closeby). Better than (too big) Wisthler campground.

We were very late reserving campsites this year and arrived into Whistlers campground to a very small, no fire pit site. We had reserved thinking as long as we brought our own firepit we could still have a fire ... wrong. After one night in Whistlers we decided to see if we could move to Wabasso. The Parks Canada agents... More

Close to the town for all your needs, nice small trails within campsite and nice kids park. Showers were pretty clean too. One of the best campgrounds in Jasper and we've been to most of them. Good for tenting or trailers

I stayed here for two nights on a rainy weekend. The sites are relatively spaced out, but it is a pretty open area. I would suggest that you try and book a site right on the river. There is not much for views here but I would consider it a quiet campground. The bathrooms were renovated near us and were... More

Although there were bear warning signs everywhere, we enjoyed our stay. Clean, and easy to find. Our site was a little tough to get into, but we made it work. When I booked the site online, it said it was full service, but it's only electrical. No water hook ups. That was disappointing. Good, central place to make a base,... More

We tent camped here for 1 night. It was a nice quiet site and our pitch was very private with lots of trees. The site is in a lovely location right next to the river, a lovely walk and views. There are no showers but the toilet blocks were fine and close to the pitches. There is a nice 'feel'... More
